Exclamation Weistec Tune Dyno Sheet (Weird Numbers!)

After having my car tuned for a while -- I finally had the chance to dyno my car. Unfortunately no before dyno but after seeing other dyno results, these numbers seem pretty low... I'm running their spark plugs and K&N drop in air filter. I have no idea what happened here, with the dip on the torque curve.

Had my shop contacted Weistec and faxed over the dyno sheet, they said they will call back but haven't receive any call back (waited for hours).

Any thoughts?

Hello,

We only received a fax with the dyno sheet but no contact via telephone was made. Is there a contact number we can reach you or the installing shop at, and we will be happy to follow up immediately. Please PM us the information. Thank you.

I did 4 runs on the dyno -- all got the same range of numbers and yes it was on dyno mode.

My shop did called you via telephone -- Darwin was talking to Sean and told us that Anthony or someone from Weistec would call us back. I did not have the shop install the ECU but it was ordered through them and I personally drove to LA to get the ECU tuned.

PM you shortly

As others have said, those results look in line with a stock Performance Package car. Does your car have PP? If so, have you taken it in since the tune for any service where the dealer might have flashed the ECU?

Yes, my car have PP. Nope -- never been to the dealer after the tune. However, car does feel a little more responsive.

Tune

After the tune you should feel a night and day difference.

Any cel go off during any of the runs. Maybe a misfire

No issues during the runs -- however, car feels faster. I actually pull away from my friend's GTR after 90mph+. His GTR has midpipe, downpipe, and exhaust.

I've been trying to have another dyno run into my schedule -- hopefully soon before Shift Sector.

How's your car running with the tune?

Tune

Car runs good. For some reason I get the occasional cel but no limp mode and the car runs fine. Cycle the car and the cel is gone. Doesn't bother me. Running MBH downpipes with x pipe. Added high flow cats after. Smell was getting to me.
Hope it works out. Seems more m157 with tunes having problems than not

We will be at shift sector as well. We would be happy to take a look at the car to make sure it is running properly. Our guess is that something is going on with the dyno. We have done many of these cars and they are very consistent in power levels. Thanks and see you soon!

We can supply you with a new set of spark plugs that will more than likely fix this issue. The stock spark plug will cause random misfires having identical symptoms to your car. Please feel free to email or call us anytime and we would be happy to assist. Thank you!

If you walked away from a GT-R than your over +580WHP. I'm running Weistec tune for so long without any problem with the spark plugs (knock on wood) and their spark plugs is must for any tuned M157 or even stock cars

It would be great if you guys can a look at the car and make sure everything is running properly. I'm thinking the same way -- but Shift S3ctor should give the answer I will be at Sonic tent.

Thanks!

I'm currently running their spark plugs as well and no issues of any kind. Also, I'm interested to check out your car if you are going to Shift Sector and maybe do a run just for fun. Yours have the upgraded turbo right?

I'll be at Shift-S3ctor this weekend. We should do a run for fun no problem

I'm running Weistec tune + Weistec spark plugs + catless downpipes ( Not Weistec DP's ) that's all. The problem is I'll be running on HRE P40SC 20's with hankooks I hope they grip little bit lol

I will be at Shift Sector as well this weekend with my tune/filters only 2013 E63, similar mods to your CLS63. I'd be happy to run you, as we should be side by side the whole way if your tune is running right, which I'm sure it is.

See you this weekend!

Based on the way I've seen your car perform Faris at past airstrip events, it's a BEAST! The Weistec boys sure have your car dialed in and running strong. I've love a chance to run you to see how my car compares.

What gas do you typically run with your tune for these events?

Sure. I'll be running on HRE S104 20" with hankooks as well lol

See you this weekend. I will look for your car or you can find me

Thanks Eric. Your old E63 was a BEAST as well can't wait to see what this one does on the airstrip.

I always mix 50/50 91 with VP MS109 like 1/4 91 + 1/4 (5 gal) 109 = 1/2 of tank 100 octane to keep gas as low as possible for weight saving lol. See there guys

I was thinking of bringing one, but decided against it when I saw the latest weather report. It's gonna be hot in the 90's, so really no point in recording 60-130 times since they will be suboptimal and not be representative of what our cars are really capable of.
