2015 CLS63/ Can I upgrade sound system?
Hello! I'm a new member and just purchased a 2015 CLS63 and it has the standard Harman Kardon system. I was wondering if I could change/upgrade to the Bang & Olufsen system. If nothing else, could I swap out only the speakers? Thank you!

Yes, anyone can post a DIY on upgrading sound system, I find my '13 CLS63 kind of weak as well.

You should try just adding a sub/amp and seeing if that balances things out

I added a small alpine 500w amp and a type r 8" sub Enclosure and it made a world of difference with very little added weight

Agree with prior posts. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the mids and highs, no need to touch the doors. Just add a subwoofer and amp with a gain control knob and keep your bass setting at zero on the radio.

So if I would like to add an amp and a sub - where exactly the amp input must be connected to? Do you guys replace original Harman Kardon sub or leaving it untouched?

Common practice to remove factory rear deck mounted subs when installing an amp/enclosure to promote sound/air entering the cabin.

They can take a signal off the rear speakers for the sub amp and mount everything in the trunk.
