Carbon Fiber repair?
After years of abuse on my Renntech rear diffuser and front lip I removed them. I can't just throw them out.....they were expensive and I don't want to buy brand new. Has anyone ever had CF repaired?
I found this company that says they repair cracked/faded/damaged CF: Carbon Fiber Auto Parts & Accessories - Exotic Car Gear, Inc.
Anyone here ever try them or done business with them?

Thanx Dustin, they did reply to my inquiry and I sent them pics......the rear diff is really the part that needs help......I can sort of live with the front lip, it just has fading and yellowing.......I'll report back if they say to ship it to them in PA

The quote was 950 plus shipping: they would reskin the parts as well as a new coat of clear resin finish. Seems like a reasonable offer considering the cost of the parts...from Renntech. The process would add 2-3mm of thickness on the exterior of the parts: I do wonder how that would affect installation. Any thoughts?

Additional 2-3mm of thickness? I would ask them if they have ever done this style of diffuser? I don't know for sure but I think it would affect the installation. Check with them.

I have decided to opt out of this mission as I do feel that amount of added thickness would result in a troublesome install process. The company very kind and helpful I would add.
