Exclamation Everybody interested in designo: You need to see this link!

Hi,

found that link on yahoo:

Designo color overview

IMO, this info is missing on the US and even on the German homepage!

Exactly my opinion! The two available designo-packages available in the US for the CLS-Class are available for a while now. Mercedes hasn't even been able to update their homepage to this VERY small selection yet...

Do they really expect to sell those packages in a high quantity even if nobody knows they are available? That's really stupid!

MB is very stupid not offer those options in the state. they don't realize how much extra profit those options can be made. i'm from a Porsche family & know how important the OE accessories can be. i'm just so tired of the Burl Walnut's look...

I noticed that, too. Fortunately, that doesn't matter at all.. I posted that link as a color-sample and I highly doubt that a sample of porcelain nappa leather and piano black wood would look any different for a CLS than it would look for a CLK. After all, I can get an impression of what the packages might look like that ARE available in the US. As I posted before, they might have an issue that they wouldn't make enough profit by offering more than two packages (although I doubt that) - but that's no excuse for being unable to display the small selection to potentinal customers (why do I have to visit the UK-page to get an idea what I might get on my car )

They have to update they homepage faster (same with lack of info about performance package...)

Thanks..
Hopefully, I can keep those seats clean since porcelain is a very light color (although I think there is a difference to plain white). Well, I don't have any small kids jumping on my seats so this job can be done, IMO. :p

Althogh I haven't seen it yet, I think those light seats and the black wood are an elegant combination (I have seen pictures of the limited IWC-Edition with the same wood trim - looked hot :v ).

I had never seen this link before... does anyone know anything about that "chromaflair" paint? even the sample looks like a few different shades of deep purple... it looks VERY cool!

Chromaflair colors are indeed VERY special colors and as you pointed out, those colors are several colors in one. I haven't seen one of those cars in person yet, but these colors are very "special" and they also come with a special price-tag (where available):

In Germany, f.e., you have to pay about $7,000 extra to get one of those colors.
