CLS55 030 rear wheels

I spent a good portion of my day today at the dealer getting a bunch of small stuff done to the car. While waiting for the car I was hanging around in the parts dept. for about an hour talking with the parts manager about all sorts of stuff especially wheels, brakes and rear diff. for the 030 cars.

We looked up the 030 rear wheel part # in the Netstar parts computer and what comes up is MB part # B6-6-03-1093.

This replacement rear wheel is NOT 19" x 9.5" wide. It is a 19" x 10" wide rear wheel!!!!!

The part # for the front wheels is B6-6-03-1092.

This finally puts to rest the argument of what rear wheel size comes with the 030 package.

Knew a guy who took delivery, and he swore that they were 10 inches.... I would say now that he was right(!) -- despite our confusion/consensus to the contrary....

Excellent, once i burn the current PS2's (shortly) I can buy some wider ones for the rear.

I have a feeling I will need new tires within the next 1000 miles. Did a little burnout for the dealer and service techs the day I picked up the car. The Service technicians were amazed at the power the CLS55 had.

I figure I will call Costco tomorrow and order some PS2's lol. Just keep them on standby.

Yeah, but I'm sincere, and I try to stay relevent in my posts.

If I am just goofing-off, I think that it is obvious, or I say so up front.

That's why i am actually worried about losing my Official TWIT Status (LOL) -- 'cause I just odn't *****-around that much....

(Oooops! Now the cat's out of the bag...Dammmmmmit!)

I don't know if I would suggest to go any wider because the car might drive funny under wide open acceleration. I would suggest to look into a softer compound than the PS2's but definitely stay with a 285 in the rear.

Keep up those awesome burnouts :v
