I have a vid of my cls55 going 181mph (290kmh) from last weekend and there's surely no way that I could've whipped out my phone and took a pic at that speed... if you wanna see it i can post the youtube link.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Not a good idea to have only one hand on the steering wheel at those speeds. Amazing nonetheless.

I think given another 10 miles he may have gotten a few more mph out of it but at that point it hits an aerodynamic wall.If he wanted to break 200,he would need a signifigant amount of power added to whats in the car now.

I was thinking the same thing, then I noticed the Europe tag on the right under info and I assumed it's a right hand driver with guy on the left taking cell phone pic.

Anyway, who cares, the 6.3 and that 7 speed are incredible to watch. Car shifting gears at 175mph gotta be the best part for me. That's 7th right guys?

Yeah that was really interesting 7th gear and the car seemed to hit a wall with alot left on the tach. I remember hitting 160 with two gears left LOL!!!!

i thought this was a euro car, with right-side wheel, and maybe his friend took the pic. but, i realized speedo was mph, so this guy actually took the shot himself at 193. i definitely dont have enough courage to pull that off

You guys can't tell that the driver is not holding the phone? Phone is to the left of the driver. Phone is being held by a right hand. Notice position of the thumb? Anyways, possibly a European delivery or military personnel/Gov't civilian living overseas driving an American spec Mercedes. Just my thought.

I grew up in Germany and learned how to drive there. Used to drive recklessly fast on the autobahn. I can assure you that no way the guy is driving with one hand at that speed. God, I miss Germany!
