CLS AMG Seats
Quick question.
in comparison from a regular cls seat to a AMG version CLS are the seats any different other than the alcantera inserts?
i recently rode in a friends BMW with sports package that has bolstered seats and is real snug and confortable. Makes the driving experience that much better when cornering.
I was wondering does the AMG version of CLS have bolstered seats vs a regular CLS? For example, i know the new C-Class C63 has those carbon fiber race seats.
Just wanting to know becuase i'm looking to purchase a CLS63.

lets not forget that the leather on the amg is MUCH nicer than the regular cls.

2007 CLS63 AMG 030; 1970 Ford Mustang Coupe
In mine they are "multi contoured" seats. There's an extra control panel underneath the seat that fills the "bladders" for extra seat cushion, lumbar and mid support, and side support- which can really lock you in. There is no side handle, like on non-amg. At least it's that way with the 2007 CLS63. It's good, as good a seat as I've ever sat in.

Does CLS63 come with the side bolsters that inflate/deflate according to driving direction like on the W221? On that little panel below the seat I dont see dynamic or pulse like the W220....was that an option?

yeah, the pulse and dynamic are an extra option. Standard 63 seats just have the inflatable bolsters and leg support.

think you can also get distronic as an option o the 63's.
