Good time ChrisB!
Was your 12.7 run with a stock C55?? If it was, that's way out of the norm for a C55??? Mods on your car???

K&N's, 3/8ths tank of 93, spare, trunk floor cover and floor mats removed, Kleemann headers, dual 2.5" exhaust w/ custom-fabbed merge-style x-pipe (necks down to 2.25 at the stock mufflers), no cats, no resonator, custom Eurocharged dyno tune, 265/19 Falken 452's @ 22psi IIRC on the rears (TSW Bremmas) and 235/19's on the front. Launching around 1200 as anything more led to wheel spin all through 1st and 2nd. Track prep seemed pretty good.

Got a bunch of parts laying around...AMS crank pulley, Wavetrac LSD, PTE cams. Still working on an intake and will be picking up a Evosport UDP set in the near future as well as some light weight 16"s and some Hoosiers. Also looking into race seats, Shuriken battery, stripping the trunk and hood trim, rear headrests, CD changer (probably going with a Dynavin sooner or later). Possibly some Coast Fab race mufflers (2.83lbs each!) and a Eurocharged Eurotuner for a race gas tune...The EC crew is coming to town in November, so hopefully I can get it all installed by then!

Should be able to drop 200lbs easy and hopefully pick up 20rwhp or so...shooting for the N/A record of 12.21! Weight loss and power increases plus the DR's and who knows...6/10ths is a lot of time to make up, but the fun is in the chase I just need to have it all done by November for Blackbenzz's MIR rental!!!

After that, lightweight 18"s and suspension and I'll be all about the roadracing

2002 C32
I bought my 2002 C32 a couple months ago and just finished all the tune up stuff and all new fluids. Mods: knn air filters, magnecore wires and ngk iridium plugs. Run was at Portland international raceway and was about my 8th run of the night and my first time ever drag racing anything! :-)
R/T: 0.306
60': 2.130
1/8th: 8.862
1/4: 13.634 @ 103.93

It was a pretty cool night, mid 60s F. Lots of fun. I had the heat blowing on full blast the whole night to help keep the car cool, but it was still really hot, I think i'll do some cooling mods before I do anything else.

Best time in a quarter mile, 11 seconds. If you can't find a track to let your BMW on, head out to the country and count the telephone poles. they are a set distance and easily measure out the track for you. plus, no cops in the woods

Stock except for KN air filters.

06 C55
96,000 miles
2.01 60 ft

I was only on 1/8th tank of gas, track gripped pretty well but it was the cool temps that helped i think. My best in the 90 degree heat is 13.30 at 106. so the cool probably helped a bit.

may run once more this week with some weight taken out and see if i can get 13.0! lol

12.489 @ 111.77 with a 1.894 60'. I'll upload the slip from my phone as soon as Verizon stops sucking.

Edit: Added pic; I think I'm starting to figure out the Hoosiers. They don't seem to like much of a burnout. My best ET's so far have been with a small burnout to haze them and then a launch around 1200. The crank pulley, intake and slightly better temps as well as the better launch dropped me 3/10ths

Thanks! Headers are definitely the best bang for the buck, with the new mods you should easily hit high 12s under the right track/weather conditions!

No extra go after the dyno yesterday ; Jake looked at my baseline runs and said he didn't think it needed tweaking and that the ECU had adapted really well. I have a few N/A mods left (UDP, maybe grinding TB shaft) before things get really expensive (i.e. headwork or fitting a larger TB). Weight loss alone through race seats, race mufflers and battery should be enough to get me 11's (I hope)!

Ran a couple times the other day in my 2003 C32. Times were pretty consistant. Couldn't seem to get much grip in my all season tires. 12.918@110.29mph. Mods are EC 61mm pulley/ecu tune, PLM heat exch (no iso yet), and res removal.

I think with an intake and grippy tires I can run a better time. C32 is a couple miles away from 90k :o

Super, I had that same initial problem. I went to the track after getting the mods but was having issues. Think I ran 13.1@107ish. I took a look at everything and noticed my tensioner pulley wasn't holding tension and was moving a good bit. I replaced it and I've been running better. Also I had to get a new belt as the original one was slipping and eventually shredded. You might need to get a new one. Basically make sure to look at all the pulleys to make sure they are functioning right.

I think it also depends on weather and track conditions. When I ran the 12.9 it was decent weather and I wasn't having to wait in line at all, so engine temps weren't building up.

Are you getting pulley slippage like i was initially?

Damn good for All-Seasons, you're picking up 24.53 mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4, you're making some good power Beg, borrow or steal some DR's, I'd love to see what she'll do with traction!

Can you post your latest slip super-amg? Also, what strip are you running? I'm no '32 expert, but I'd guess traction and weather are your issues if your IC pump is working properly.
