Question cost of a brake job for C32?

I have nearly 46,000 miles and think that on my next "B" service I will need to replace pads. And was wondering about the costs involved. Also does MB dealers force you to replace rotors.
thanks for any info

The pads should be around USD150 (or less). Plus an hour of labor. You may or may not have to change the rotors, but they should be fairly think after 46K miles.

I just went through your exact situation, and asked the dealer how much for brakes when I dropped it off for Service B. I was told "around $280-290". Looking at some of the brake posts here, it would cost less than half that for parts and doing it yourself. Of course, if I was going to have anyone do it, I have the dealer do it---just in case.

Is there any way to make the rotors last longer?...rotating them perhaps? (if that's even possible!) Sorry if that's a dumb question.

I believe it's the same rotor on both sides, leaving the holes on one facing in the wrong direction. Pretty lame if you ask me.

I plan to do the brakes myself when the time comes. Been doing them on my ML320 with no problems...

Anyone know if someone makes aftermarket cross drilled rotors that fit the C32 AMG brake kit with holes going the right direction for both sides? Stoptech perhaps?

I'm sure people have their preferences, but I've heard good things about Porterfield pads. I haven't had to change mine yet, so I'm still running the stock "low-dust" pads that came w/ my AMG brake kit.
