I am defintely in for the new grill and have posted several comments about it. Less slats = sleeker!

Normally Blake P is correct with his statement. But cntlaw did ask for a sponsor to get get involved. Now, he did it openly in a thread/post instead of a PM/email, but his intend was still the same. Sponsors, in this case, BlackC230Coupe, have always shown to be willing to help the membership.
Please keep the above example in mind if and when you have additional ideas that would be a benefit to all. Our sponsors help make this forum what it is today. Lets support them and help make this board even better.

I have one on order from MB Germany (been trying for 3 mths) but they won't ship it to Canada until we actually haqve the "06's landed here. Another 3 or 4 weeks I am told.

Yes, it is, just give me a few days, i am waiting to get 1 grill so i can test fit it on the C55 and see whats needed.

If this is for the facelifted CLK grill, I'm interested as well. You probably should cross post this in the W209 forum, because others will probably be interested also.

.A bulletin broad is not a perfect channel to communciate, thus, I would
here like to illustrate my expectations for joining the group buy:
1. the grill must be an ORIGINAL MB CLK 2006 facelift grill ie (3 fins star )
2. Guess it should be similar to the exisitng CLK grill, C55 has to replace its hood latch in order to close the hood properly. So the latch and installtion instruction must also be provided.
3. the new grill fitting should be tested first and prefer a photo to show it.
4. Not sure if the new CLK grill has two colors i.e. black and silver? e.g. Brilliant Silver C55 will go with a black CLK grill.
5. Good solid packing for shipping to Hong Kong is required.

Yes the grill will be from the 2006 CLK. 3 slats.
I am waiting to get the grill so i can test fit it on my car to see what the deal will be with the hood latch. I am guessing it will need the same one as the CLK to make it close.
You will see a picture before the group buy is set up.
Yes, the 2006 grill comes in either silver/crome or black/chrome.
