pulled by a Bentley Continental GT
The merger to the 10W is a long, banked, sweeping turn. I like to take this turn fast if there aren't any other cars around, and last night it was empty. So I'm pushing hard through the turn, and guess who I see? It's the GT and I'm gaining fast. As soon as I get within 10 yards or so, I see the GT lurch forward - he floors it. This is just where the turn starts straightening out, so I floor it too. Maybe 4-5 seconds went by, but it felt like an eternity.
At first, I kept up perfectly. I couldn't gain, but he wasn't getting any farther away. I'd never been so proud of my car. After a second or two, I could see him ever so slowly start putting distance on me. I doubt we were even going a hundred, but I had to immediately slow down because we were finally merging onto the 10. At around the time I stepped off the gas, the GT seemed like it was really picking up speed, no way I could have hung. He got around a car that had to brake to avoid hitting, and he was gone again. I thought about trying to catch up again to give him a thumbs up or something, but traffic was medium again, and I had to exit.
Anyways, it was a fun night. I've owned the C32 since April, and this is my first psuedo-race in my life. Fun stuff guys.
In any case, nice run! Take pride in the fact that your Benz just ran with a car which costs in excess of a buck-and-a-half.

no way... As was mentioned earlier, the GT's high power output would be at its best on the highway....
