Ever used those yoko's at the track before?
Well I should first ask if by track you mean road course or drag strip??
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
(They are supposed to give the same grip as my Nitto NT01 and that tire is basically a drag tire)
I'll let you know next week.

I'm hitting the track this Friday. Should be nice and cold out (around 55 degrees). Unfortunately, I'll be running my 265/19/30 PS2's so I'll still have a usual crumy feathered take off with a ****ty 2.0 60', but at least I'll have the cold weather on my side. Looking for some 12.0-12.1 slips.
Also - I'm taking it to a local dyno shop (Silver State Motorsports) on friday to get the RWHP.
Vadim - Mike @ Silver State says hi.
Also these tires can be used on a track until they are bald and they are still good. On the street you will be throwing them away long before the tread is gone because the minimum tread depth for a legal street tire is like 3mm. If you have the money to buy tires every 2-3 thousand miles then they might work.
Look at the bright side,
I've been using AVS Sport - hard compound tires all this time. (My 60' time was like 2.4 - 2.6)
The first time I put on the Nitto - I was like oh my god - holly **** -
now that's what I'm talking about!
At least you've had the PS2 - still a damn good tire!
Good luck at the track on Friday - try to break 12 - fast the night before or something - take out the back seats...
(I've been thinking of getting some nice new seats - shave off another 60-70 lbs)

I realize that my car has a lot of power and I drive it with a lot of respect. I know when to accelerate and when not to - regardless of the rain. Under normal driving conditions, I should be fine.
I can't comment on the wear and tear of these bad boys but I will keep everyone posted
If you are correct - I will most likely go with the PS2 the next time around and just keep my Nitto for track use. (No use in dumping money every 3 months or so) BennyZ

At half price of most performance tires and with a lot more traction - I love them.
Actually not true. Or I would say it depends on a tire. For the last 50K miles I have been driving on Dunlop Super Race tires - everyday. If propely rotated a set would last 25K-30K miles. I am on my third set and even in the rain they are as good as Toyos R1s I had before.

Hey Vadim - are the Toyos R1s better than the PS2's? Traction wise, at the track?

i was planning on getting them, i decided against them b/c of tire wear..... i got about 6500-7000 mi out of my ps2's.
i used to have a e36 m3 w/ yoko a032r's, r compound tires are the ****.
