Also, when I removed the kit I found the Harmonic Balancer wasn't pinned to the crank...that worries me, the supercharger drive places extra load on the single accessory belt, it is necessary to reinforce the HB and supply a balancer bolt TQ to specs.
Looking back, I can honesty say I'm in a better place now, HPS is...History Per Say.
Linh, what's your next move?....time to raise some hell!!! I really hope to see you & Robert come out of this ordeal holding the jackpot.

"Adam did say the ECU would re-learn itself to the new hardware but I later found the added FMU was the culprit." LOL..........Adam alway have an answer for EVERYTHING but in reality, he does not know jack about car, not even his own sc !! Even Jesse said so.
Considered yourself lucky. I've have try everything to make piece with HPS but Adam refused to work it out with me. I even offer him to sell my sc kit like he did with your sc but he still refused to do so.
Getting my money back is not even importance to me anymore. Getting HPS back where it count the most is what we will do. I'm just about done writting my whole experienced with HPS sc. My post will be very detailing about the whole experienced and shocking at time.

Took two hour whole hours and finish reading the whole thread...
.... hum. ... any updates yet?

I think its my time to put it on the dyno and see how my Sc running at 6 psi would do...

Just ordered this Pump: Bosch 0 580 254 044
Bosch Rating: 200 LPH at 72.5 PSI and 13.5 V
Bosch Approximate Crank HP rating at 72.5 PSI and 13.5 V: 750 HP
see if i can get away with it without the BAP and get the correct 11.7 AF

Good choice on the motorsport 044, I've used it before...but mounting the darn thing won't be simple. My E430 and your CLK55 uses the same Bosch 69529 FP, the 044 is larger in thickness and wont fit your OEM bracket, you might have to use a quick release mounting bracket (I'm not sure about the clearance area on the CLK55, but the E430 is tight as he!!) and if I recall correctly it's got a 18mm dia. hole and 1.5 thread/mm pitch...it's been so long I can't remember the stock dia., well anyways you can get AN adapter fittings.
Don't rule out the KB BAP, it's a simpler install. What's your fuel pressure reading @WOT?
Good luck!

Off the top of my head, I don't recall the inlet size of the OEM...let me dig up some old info and send you a PM when I find it.
Here's a pix of the Q/R bracket & AN fittings on a 044.

The front or high speed seals is likely shot, I wouldn't let the front seal go for too long...bearings could be next.
Unfortunately, ATI is your best source their seals can withstand RPM required. It's a 7-10 day lead time and cost $320-350.
Becuz of it's compact size, not many uses the C2, I think the 350z ProCharger kit is package with the C2.
You could try Next Level Performance: www.nlperformance.com They use to replace seals in-house, I'm not sure if they still do tho.
Yeah, they sell the bracket for $30 and AN fittings for $10-15.
Good luck!

Thanks Mark, i know about the break in procedure. I'm a little worry that one of the cylinder has a high blow-by that cause randomly misfired due to oil foul the plug. It only got about 500 miles on it so far. I sure hope that ring will eventually wear itself out to a perfect seal. As for the sc, the car is back to stock now.

Rings seat in a matter of minutes now a days on these cars. Rule of thumb "drive it like you stole it" Really the only wearable item that has break-in are the piston rings. If your getting an oil fouled plug that is an indication of oil contamination within the cylinder. My advice first do a leakdown test of all cylinders, then do a compression test both dry and wet tests.
Fresh built race motors have 4-10% leakdown before they are ran. After 30 minutes of running they usually go down to 1-4% leakdown. If you have anything over 12% on your motor you have a problem, especially it being "fresh".

Get this Checked out on your HPS SC KIT!!!
I just found out from another HPS customer that his Supercharger crankshaft actually broke off! This is the second incident. His first incident was already reported by me when his car's engine suddenly shut off while he was driving on the freeway due to faulty wiring of the intercooler pump to the computer circuit board.
Please ask Adam to check your intercooler pump wiring AND the crankshaft for any structural defects such as hairline cracks or fractures. Make sure that you did not get the crankshaft that came from the same lot as this unfortunate but patient customer.

I'm just curious to see how long this Charger will last before something goes. I can't believe it still hasn't ruptured.

Hps Track Time!
I just registered with the SpeedGallery.com to race my car at ButtonWillow on Wednesday (June 21st). It will be a full day event. I am putting special high temperature brake pads on. Now it's time to see if the HPS kit can stand up to 8 hours of 115+ degree heat at full throttle. I will also post my time slips and video record some of my runs as well as of the other 30+ cars on the track. If anybody from California is interested in participating please send me a PM.

In my numerous years of experience of tuning cars, I have no doubt that you will "GRENADE" your engine.
You will join the ranks with other POS, oh sorry, HPS customers like Lihn (clk&slk) with destroyed or damaged engines.
This is the best way to loose $25,000 of your C55's value that I can think of.
Why you keep doing this to yourself will remain a mystery, sort of like "bigfoot" sightings.
I wish you best of luck.
P.S. Mistress HPS is available on Wednesdays. Just ask for Father's Day Special.

Actually, I'm only guaranteed about 4 hours of actual driving and I'll probably let it cool off every half an hour or so. I've told Adam and Bill that I needed the heavy-duty heat exchanger and intercooler pump and they refused to offer it saying that the test pieces did not lower temperatures at all. Now let's see how the cooling components of this HPS kit holds up because it will be absolutely scorching out there according to the event organizers.
I will actually be racing with other cars on the track doing laps. I'd like to blow a few M3's, RS4's, 997's, Z's, IS350's, and possibly a few stock vettes away since there will some of each this Wednesday.
