Hi, would any of you know how to have the '05 Command display the AMG logo upon start-up?

I saw Mr. Wolf do it on Lisamcgu's SLK55 but, for the life of me, can't figure out how to do it on my C55. Or could it be that it's not possible on the 05 command units? Thanks in advance.

Don't know how to do it but e-mail or talk to Jim(Mr. wolf) and he can probably tell you how to do program it. Btw you free this friday for a quick photoshoot?

Thanks James. I'll PM Jim and see if he has any tips for the C-Command. I remember him saying it may or may not work. Maybe he has figured out something since then.

As for Friday, we're still up in the air about attending the IE meet. We're definitely out if it rains. Would you be willing to do a shoot afterwards or would that be too late? We will probably need to spend some time cruising around looking for a spot with good lighting. Friday morning is definitely out for me as I have 2 things scheduled that day.

Off-topic: Do you know what's up with the calendar poll?

Welcome Ling. Actually the photoshoot i'm talking about is this friday(02-24-06) which i just check the weather and it's says Partly Cloudy and then saturday is Mostly cloudy. Maybe we can do a quick shoot late friday or in the evening? If that doesn't work Saturday maybe? Also what do you mean about the calendar poll? Is it not working?

Thanks Mick. I've been trying with that trick and I haven't had any success.

Friday evening/night might be a possibility if we do head up to the meet. Weather.com is showing a 20% possiblity of rain for Riverside Friday night. I'll let you know Thursday evening if I'll be able to make it Friday.

Yeah just let me know or call me. I'm doing a car wash and detail on my car this friday for a weekened test/run. Are you trying to do a poll on the calendar or something?

I'm referring to the poll that was part of the Pasadena meet contest. It was supposed to be posted last week but I still haven't seen it.

Yeah dude. Don't worry though because there's another one. The next one is going to be the biggest one, kind of like the Oktoberfest. Were you there on the Oktoberfest @ Tia Juanas? We had i believe over 150+ Benzs and we're going to be doing it sometime this year. Not sure yet on when but it'll probably be around October or somewhere around that month.

N/M on the question. According to Steve, the 3-5-7 trick doesn't work on the W203 command.

I have a 2006 C55 AMG and have not been able to even access the menu to affect this change. I would like to. Has anyone had success with a 2006 model? If so, please advise....and thanks in advance.

It will not work. Here is Steve's response:

"the 3-5-7 trick works on becker comands for the W211, W219 and R171

the US W203 DVD comand is not even a comand - it is an alpine MCS
II...different manufacturer, different hardware, different software - so in
short: NO"

How about for W203 Euro COMAND? I cannot make it works either. It is a Becker.
