Very Nice!!

Audi's and BMW's have way cooler parts available than we do.....alot of them too.

Granted it's an audi in benzville...however I can respect those. Enjoy.

Yep, I am the character doing the stage 3 upgrade. I put BBS RGR wheels on it. Partly because I like the look but also they are light. I saved 10 lbs/wheel over the stock Audi wheels and tires.

I bought the car new back in March of 2000. After a month, I had the ECU programmed by APR for stage 1 and left it there. I then bought an ALMS edition TT and made it my project car. Late last year I sold the TT and bought my C55. So now the S4 is my project car. It has 48k miles and has been in 31 different states and has been flawless. It amazes me it easily gets 30mpg on the highway and I really hope I don't mess it up.

May I ask why you didn't keep the TT? It seems like it would be more fun than the S4 to drive (though not as easy to mod to high heaven, I suppose).

It was a tough choice. I had done all the typical upgrades to the TT. ECU reprogrammed, AP Racing BBK, Samco hoses, vent boost gauge, ASP crank pulley, FMI and a BMC intake. The car was quite quick and fun to drive but it lacks the charm of the S4. I don't know if you have driven an S4 but the six speed manual with the APR stage 1 is very satisfying drive. It is definitely a better all arounder then the TT. Also, as you state, there are a ton of aftermarket parts and the Audiworld B5 S4 forum has tons of information and it still very very active. I wish I could keep all my cars but money and space prevail.

I think the B5 S4 would in the end be a better car. better engine to mod, more pratical, and in my personal opinion better looking than the TT. TT may be more fun to drive because it's smaller, but I'd think of it as a luxury Beetle instead of an Audi.
