Do any of you frequent...

the AMG Private Lounge?

It seems really quiet over there but the layout of the forum itself is really nice. Is it me or is it especially easy on the eyes?

I kinda like the exclusivity of having only AMG owners as members, but that may be the reason its so dead

I feel the same. That forum should be more active. Not sure why it isn't, except that it is new. It's up to us users and amg owners to make it better. Still hoping that MB and the site moderators can provide more usable info for us.

The site is pretty slick looking, but it takes longer to load the main screen than on other sites.

I agree, I think doing so would probably put an end to alot of the speculation that goes on around here. We can here it right from the horses mouth...

Also, if the people at AMG are more cognizant of what the enthsusiasts want (by monitoring our discussions), they will probably be more responsive and offer such products. For example, it really annoys me that we can't get alot of the aftermarket products that are available for the german spec vehicles (M-2 shift upgrade, OEM headers, etc.). I think if they were aware of how much demand there actually is here, they would be inclined to offer such products in North America as well.

That being said, I think we should really take advantage of this new forum.

I would also like to see an online area to get AMG products/clothing, etc. I really don't see the need to go into the dealership to place an order for these items.
