You can do a search...

It's defected radiator (possible seals) cause it to leak.

Thanks.
Thanks.
When you call your service advisor tell them the transmission has a droning/buzzing noise/ harsh 2nd to 3rd shift at between 1200and 2500RPMs.
. All automatic transmission radiators have an internal transmission fluid inter cooler in the radiator, which cools the transmission fluid before it returns to the transmission. If this cooler fails coolant/glycol will mix with transmission fluid = transmission failure.

Did you have a shifting problem and complain about it too your dealer when the car was under warranty, any documentation to support your claim, Paper work, invoices, you may have a very good case. If not I doubt they would cover the cost.

Has anybody had this test done at Walnut Creek Mercedes? My C32 was built 3/03 and I am wondering if they will do this test for free or want to charge me some crazy amount of money. Transmission is fine right now, no jerking or buzzing, but I want to get the test done just in case and even if it's negative, I will eventually replace the radiator.
