My stock C55 rims and tires are

F 18", 7.5 Offset 30, PS/2 225/40
R 18", 8.5 Offset 37, PS/2 255/35

I have found some very light forged 18" rims for upgrade but hard to find 7.5" for front.

Need user expereince on :-

1. F 8" offset 30 , R 8", offset 35

2. F 8.5" offset 30 , R 9.5" offset 35

as whether I can keep my current tires in tact and any drawbacks if I use them on above two rims specifications.

I'd go with option 2. Those widths and offsets seem perfect for your car. You can use your stock tires on those wheels as well, though some will probably suggest you go a bit wider.

Since we're on the topic of wheels...

33psi front and 37psi back is what it states on the door jam. I recently discovered that dealers only puts 30-32psi all around.

So I bumped mines up to what MB recommends.

Now my MPG has dropped off slightly, I wonder if this is the reason why dealers put them at 32psi?

37psi at rear is suggested for a fully loaded car with passengers.
The best ride comfort is 32 all around. I find 32 front and 34 rear the best ride comfort on C55.

But one tire shop guy who is quite pro, suggested to me I should use 31 all around for my E90. My friend's E90 has 18" 225 , 255 staggered and he used 37 all around and surprised his MPG is best among all of us. I was in his car the other day and did feel good ride comfort too.

32 and 37 are both safe.

These are what I can find in stock for the brilliant silver C55.
it seems the darker rims contrast pretty well.
Not cheap, $2256 the whole set.
