Exhaust Video - C32 Custom Magnaflow
I got my car back today! The custom Magnaflow system is installed and sounds good. I can notice a huge difference in low end power with not so much difference in top end.
Here is the video.
Sorry about the video, I don't know what happened.

sweeeet sounding exhaust! awesome!
I especially liked the justaposition between the calm clip-clop of footsteps to the car and the beastly sound once you rev it up!

I'm still downloading, but do you mind if I add it to the Exhaust Video compilation? Unless some mode were to create an exhaust video/audio sticky like the pictures one.

ellery - I used a single twin tip. I was thinking about the dual, but after looking under the car, it seemed like too much work for me. I think we will have to modify the spare tire holder in order to make any room.
congchina - Thanks!
boohooramblers - I know what you mean...I was trying to get it done in a hurry.
Jgsx - My guy would not remove the rear cats. I might bring it back to them with some high flow cats for them to install. But, after your post, I don't think it would be of any benefit to removing / replacing them. Sound right?
DirtyVegasMB - Yeah, I hear ya. I guess a camera man position is out of the question for me! The tips stick out a little more than I wanted them to, but in order for the exhaust to stay straight, I was told it was needed. It is starting to grow on me....very slowly.
Bif powell - Please use the video in any shape or form. We might want to edit out the part when I pick the camera up, or I can make a new one in daylight.
1fastC32 - It goes completely silent at 3 grand. However, before and after that, it is extremely loud in the cabin. I’m not so sure that I like it this loud, and now I might consider sound damping or after the wife hears it, maybe going with a muffler that is not so loud. Don’t get me wrong, I love the way it sounds, but talking on a cell phone while driving is not going to work anymore. Any ideas or suggestions on how to quiet her down a little inside the cabin?

Yeah, deleting the rear cats is mainly to make the exhaust louder, but yours already sounds pretty mean

After much driving and yapping from the wife, I have decided to go with the Eisenmann Cat back system. I will be removing the system in a few weeks when the new one arrives. I'm very picky about looks and I agree that the tips stick out too far. Plus, the drone at 50-70 is louuud and my 1 year old that I drive to day care every morning has to hate it.
I know that the Eisenmann will be a little more quiet. I had one on my E46 and it sounded great.

It was their standard 3" stainless pipe. The muffler is a Magneflow 14588 with custom tips.

Removing the secondaries raised the exhaust's volume right to where I want it. There are just a few tones that I don't like, and I'm wondering if leaving the stock resonator in place would help remove those while keeping most of the volume . . . too bad I'm not going to try it, my exhaust has already been through too many iterations in the last couple weeks.
