might as well get a new one versus a 2 year old one. the CLS is the only class for MB that retain it's value well other than the SL.

anything bigger than the C I'd say it's an upgrade.

By the time I get it I will know every inch of it and know what to look for. I would like to get the new cls63 but way to pricey so gonna go with first model out and by the time I get it I will know what to lookout for in the meantime I am planning to continue to do upgrades to my current C32.

Nice choice! I was thinking the same thing... but will have to wait a couple of years and will probably buy one with more miles.

If more miles gives me what I am looking for then so be it.........if I can buy this C32 with 42k miles then I can get a CLS55/63 with about the same or less or a little more.

Hey man - personally, I'd stick with the 55 blown motors. There's just something about a FI car that does it for me!
I know that some of the other forums have discussed some of these models individually and I'm sure you are aware of the debate going on between the E55/E63
But, having seen the 55 go up against the 63 (E and CLS models) at the ATL AMG meet earlier this month, there's no way I'd fork out the extra $$ for what is supposed to be an upgrade. Get yourself an E55 that did not go in for the latest engine management update. Just my 0.02!

I have to admit I am also in favor of the supercharger over the new NA models. Not to mention I am not all that fond of the E63's look. I would definitely prefer the CLS55 or the E55.. Hopefully the prices drop a little with the new models coming out..

same here... I'm not really "feeling" the fact that AMG opted for a big *** engine to make more power. They should've stuck with the kompressors or maybe tried propagating down the twin turbos from the V12s. So the C class would be V6-TT... and the bigger cars be V8-TT. Throw in a 7-speed box with the turbos and you got a no-lag smooth machine.

I know they're more concerned with smoothness than anything else, but that's BS... AMG is a performance tuning division... they need to be putting out cars with "Performance" as a priority.
