Engine light on
Ok I installed a green filter in one of the air boxes cause I couldn't get the second one to open. I found out there was a K&N filter in it. I did this on Saturday night. Well I drove to Chicago Sunday morning with one Green Filter and one K&N filter. I noticed that the engine warning light was on as I drove to Chicago about 40 or so miles. Later that Sunday I had my brother inlaw install my other green filter but still have engine light on and I have driven since about 50 or so miles with Green filters only and til today since I drove my car still have the engine light on. Do you guys think that having the green filter and k&n filter that that could of caused it? The car runs fine and nothing at all bad happening. Any help appreciated!

When I installed my K&Ns, my engine light was on for a day or two. Then, I decided to reset my ECU via disconnecting the battery. My CE light hasnt come for that reason since.

He checked the warning with his scanner and told me that it happened to him and that once the light comes on u have to take it off. He checked the air filters and housing to make sure no leaks or loose hose was present. He gave me a part I needed for my SL55 splitter and offered to put it on but time was of the essence and he didn't have a tool to facilitate the job so he explained in details exactly what to do to install the SL55 splitter. I might end up getting a sprint booster especially since he promotes it so much. Thanks a million Jerry!
