I recently had my seat controls repaired(which activates the heated seats and the button light on the dash) and the plugs on the passenger side wasn't plugged in right so check that the plugs are in tight in the front of seat under it.

I'm on my third set for the driver side. With the original seat bottom, it would suddenly feel barely warm. The second time, it would just burned my butt and crapped out. i'm thinking the seat heating pad is sensitive to certain amount of weigh because mine happened right after a fat vallet guy sat in it. Only good thing is I get a whole new seat bottom everytime.

That exactly what happened on the driver side and then I had the seat control modules draining battery issue...so it may appear I will get another lower seat then...

Because the heater is built into the seat well I seriously doubt to many options are available..

This happened to me as well. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the bottom cushion on the seat - not the entire seat. Was covered under warranty.
