I dont have a C32 (yet) so I can ask him to make one for me, but if u other C32 guys are intersted in a very nice Intake system should let VRUS know...

Does anybody know the inlet size of C32 TB ?

Are you doing this as a purely cosmetic mod?

The C32 has the same TB as the E55

I don't see the point in this intake other than looking nice

any CF in the engine bay are mostly for cosmetics. If it does anything it lowers the intake temp which E55 forum members have shown to use heatshield cloth on the front plastic tubes that does the same effect with very little cost.

Renntech CF Airbox.. I had one and sold it. Where I benefited from the RCF airbox was When the car was going at top speed. Renntech got rid of all those fins of the original and replaced the main part with an empty CF Cover and offers more space for air. If you get to the top speed like 186mph with stock airbox, you will sense that the engine is choking compared to when you run with RCF airbox. With RCF airbox, the engine feels much stronger than stock. At low speed, there is no difference I could feel.

If you're trying to upgrade for performance reasons, put in the SL55 boxes.

that depends if you have the CF airbox for your non-supercharged 55 or the supercharged one. with the non-supercharged one I'll say it'll do it's designed to do like you said. however for our C32 by giving it the 55 y-splitter and the 55 airbox is more than enough to let the air through. the Renntech CF airbox works for the 55s because they open up the intake even more to allow more airflow, but for our car it is unnecessary. if you are talking about making the airflow smoother that doesn't even applie to our cars since once the air reaches the TB it goes into the supercharger no matter how the air goes in it only comes out one way.

thanks for the info FrankW. Would you know where is the best and cheapest place to get the 55 y-splitter and the 55 airbox?

BTW what exactly is the y-splitter and does anyone know where I can download a c32 manual?

y-splitter is the connection piece from the airbox to the throttle body. it's the piece in the middle behind the s/c. search on the forum and you should find part numbers for the 55 splitter and airbox. Evosport sells it as a kit, but it'll be cheaper if you can buy the part yourself from the dealership.
