It seems that cars are getting taller. In part, it's the European pedestrian protection requirements (making hoodlines higher), and I guess from there the whole car gets taller to match. Have you seen the newer Infinitis? They look like SUVs. And maybe that's part of the design evolution. As SUVs take over, cars are actually trending taller. They used to say that an SUV was "car-like." Now they'll say cars are "SUV-like."

According to the article the info. is about a week old and is a "world premiere". I didn't know the forum next door was so far ahead. All I've seen around are spy pics and rumors.... Guess we're not all as informed as you.
