Aftermarket Warranty Info - Links/#'s
Dear Mr. Smart,
Thank you for speaking with me about our company and products. I’ve attached a sample of the American Mercury Insurance Company (Member Company of the Mercury Insurance Group) Platinum Plan for your review.
Please take a look at Mercury Insurance Group at www.mercuryinsurance.com . I think you will find that this group of insurers is very experienced in the P&C market and will be an excellent underwriter for you.
Please visit the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org in the top left hand side choose "Check it Out", and select "Business". This will take you to the BBB’s Business Search. Please look at our BBB for The Auto Club in Austin, Texas.
Lastly, if you have a chance to visit this hyper link to AM Best Company http://www.ambest.com/ you can look at the financial strength rating of our insurer as well as the RRG's (warranty companies) you’re also looking into. Remember that you should look for the insurance obligor in the sample contract that the warranty company sends you. You will never see a re-insurer offering an obligation to you, the contract holder. The re-insurer protects the RRG's reserve account.
If you have any questions please give me a call.
Best Regards,

the warranty is great and all but does it only take effect when something detrimental happens? in other words, say your engine is knocking and everyone can hear it. i take it to mercedes benz and the estimate alone costs 600 something bucks just to check and diagnose. does mercury cover that diagnostic fee as well? or must that be paid out of pocket and mercury only covers the actual repair.

When you call, ask them if you can still buy a warranty for the C32. I asked and they said no.

Thanks bro! I think I'm SOL at this point.
Good news is they do cover diagnostic charges. When I dropped off the car at the MB dealership some chick tried telling me they wouldn't cover it and be prepared to pay them.

I have cpo until next year or 100k
or
Easy care up to 60k or 2010.
The original owner paid $1600 for it, but did not choose the coverage wisely. Since the warranty ends at 60k. I wished he would of taken 100k.
Now I need to call back Easycare and buy additional warranty before this one expires or buy another one that covers the car up to 100k.
Here in Cali.... 60k is about 2 years worth of driving.
Sorry, we are unable to offer you a quote on that vehicle at this time. We are adding new programs all of the time, so please try back again later. Thank you for using Auto Warranty Broker.

I have received this message every time I've tried, including 90 seconds ago. I have even tried to change the state, just to see if California was being boycotted. Nope.
