CHICAGO Meet 2007
Hi everyone!
It seems that everyone had a great time at the last year meet at Schaumburg. It also seems that more and more folks are ready for a new one so maybe we should open a discussion on the Date/s, Location and Activities.
This time if we can find a nice country/highway/etc stretch of the road we might have runs of C32 vs C55 or C32 Renntech vs C32 Evosport etc. I personally never driven C32 and would love to swap with someone for a quick run.
And we can all finish the day with a nice meal and couple of drinks.
Anyhow, let's make this meet RULE so let's hear everyon's ideas!

As far a meeting place, I think the Streets of Woodfield is a nice central location - right by Starbucks.~Francis

Not the streets please! We're going to have to fend off all the ricers then...
At around..8 oclock they start to emerge and DRIVE AROUND in circles. I have no idea why they think that's cool...

Well, if everyone is in agreement, we can use the top deck of the parking garage at the Rosemont convention center. I have a key card to get us all in and I'm 99% sure I can get approval. Hell, I thought they would tell me no when I asked to play paintball with some friends in the woods behind the parking garage...but they didn't. We can all bring some food, drinks, and music to makes things more exciting.
If not, maybe we can meet at a park that is close to everyone and have a BBQ.

Yes, I think this should be a general Mercedes AMG event. I'm going to get my buddy to bring his S65 AMG V12 Bi-Turbo monster for us to drool over.

As far as dates, I would probably say as soon as maybe two weeks - weather permitting of course. Also I didn't see any mention of a specific day so I wanted to throw out there maybe a Sunday afternoon???

A good way to get away from the ricers and any other annoying people is to use Busse Woods nearby. I was there for an S2000 meet 2 years ago and it worked out perfectly. Better photo ops there as well... Just an idea.
