Found *NEW* C55
Hi folks - been patiently lurking for a while. Looking at used M3's and new / used C55's.
I've been shopping for the few last remaining new dealer C55's. Found two. Made an offer today. I am getting a good enough deal to take the sting out of depreciation - yes, even considering this is the end of the end of this model. There is something good about being last.
I'm getting it loaded, less satellite. It has NAV (which I don't want), but no satellite.
I want satellite - I haven't been lurking here long enough to find the answer. I don't want to do aftermarket.
I have some questions. Sorry, I am a noob with MB. I've had BMW and my wife still drives an ouchie (Audi).
1) What are my choices with the NAV system to get Satellite added? Dealer wants $1700 to add.
2) Doesn't seem like these cares have HomeLink.
3) Where can I find good breakin and maintenance info. (besides the manual - I know that....)
4) It's got the blue tint. Can I / should I tint over that? (experiences?)

i dont know much about any of the other things you mentioned but on the tint you can tint over it but you will need to order mole hair (search the forum). there is a guy on here that sells it online and i ordered from him very good product.

I checked MbenzNL.com, no dice.
Does anyone else have any ideas on how to get Sirius in the car where it will work with the controls?
Dealer now quotes $800 parts, and 500 labor. I am thinking of buying the unit and DIY.

I bought the car tonight. Oh my God. I had no idea how much of a car I was buying. It has more stuff on it than I ever imagined.
I couldn't deal on the dealer satellite.
I got a KILLER deal. I'd post the price but I don't want to **** any one else off. I believe the last two C55's in north and central Texas are now gone.
