evosport Intercooler and Pulley upgrade news ....
Well,
Vadim got the prototype IC and pulleys on the car for the EuroTunerFest tomorrow. We say major gains in power (20) and torque (30+) in 3rd gear and up with the IC. That is where the heat really kills the car.
We were able to get 300 at the wheels with a perfect a/f ratio!
You can see the dynos here:
C32 Power Chart (stock v. evosport pulley v. evosport pulley, evosport intercooler, colder plugs)
C32 Torque Chart (stock v. evosport pulley v. evosport pulley, evosport intercooler, colder plugs)
C32 Torque Chart (stock v. evosport pulley v. evosport pulley, evosport intercooler, colder plugs)
Thanks
Brad

whats the "green stats" then? you said 300 to the wheels the green says 315. Awesome that more pulleys are out now ..are you guys going to take it to the 1/4mile strip? (timeslips) Did VADIM ever track it before when stock? for a good before and after timeslip example.

Brad,
After looking at the first dyno chart again, i noticed that 315 at the wheel but that is just a SPIKE in power due to gear changed. Noticed after gear change then the power drop way below the second run which gain a true 297hp at the wheel. Can you real claim that as a true gain of 315 rwh..??? I know you didn't but just asking.

Nice work
Good work Vadim and Brad.
Some shops will claim HP based on spikes such as those shown, and Brad purposely didn't. He is listing torque and HP gains at conservative, yet fair, levels.
Also EvoSport is addressing the A/F ratio that many sweep under the carpet when larger pulleys are added. I am not an A/F expert but, this is an important aspect to consider when making mods, yet most tuners do not even provide this type of data to end users.
In addition, EvoSport has faced a problem that others shun from, the IC temperature. Added boost means added heat, and BTW the stock C32 doesn't deal with engine and SC heat all that well to begin with. Go for a few hard runs, park your car and make some waffles
Kudos to Evo for facing some tough issues head-on.
Does EvoSport actually plan to sell the IC package separately?
