Out of curiosity (I posed this question earlier, although didn't see it answered), why is it that a 6 cyl Boxster can have aftermarket SS headers for roughly $600? Does the design use less stainless steel than a C32 design, or is it simply that there's more sales volume for a Boxster so economies of scale kick in...?
I think Jet-Hot coated headers for *potentially* under $1k is a great deal - you're essentially selling evosport-style headers, but theirs are 50% more... good stuff Erick!

The headers for my SLK32 are really coming along. They are complete but still need to be coated. I'm sure they would work on a C32 but things are tighter in an SLK32, it is quite likely that a better design could be achieve with the C32. However, some people with SLK32/Crossfire's have been following this thread so I thought I'd post an update. Pictures and pricing information are available in the thread.

So did LET produced these for you cause the links are thru LET? Also if we can get a group buy how far can price be lowered? I might be in but very interested in Dyno results first.................I really don't want to go this far but if hp is good enough I might. You should try to have it tested also on a non-modded car such as yours cause results might vary. Great pics!

Here are some some pics of the headers I have had made for the SLK32. Not as much room in the SLK and the O2 sensors connect to the exhaust manifold.
The last one is the finish product with coating.
