also eastern cat has oem universal cats for about 50 each for the e320 don't known how much for the amg,give them a call.

Now you point out that you have non oem cats,have you cleared the code and inspected the cat in question,if non oem you may have a lazy o2 sensor.Clear the codes,harbor freight tools has an obd2 scanner #94169 for 39 bucks.works great.listen to the cat is it rattling or if you hit it with a rubber mallet do you hear stuff bouncing around?
then at the price of a cat I would spend a few bucks and go to an indie shop that has a scope and check pre cat and post cat o2 sensor values,it will show you if it is the cat or a lazy sensor.Run from the dealer,any good indie can do it.
