It's not much expensive.. Go ahead and get the 245.. I wouldn't put smaller tires on our car.. That's the last thing u want to do. I think 245 is smaller for C55.. I def wouldn 't put 225.. jst my 2cent

Sell your car and buy a Honda Accord. I'm astounded that people buy high performance cars and then ***** and whine about the cost of tires. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I bought 4 17x8 OZ wheels with 4 225 45/17 Conti Extreme Contact tires for Nov - April use (I live in MN.) and when Spring came I left them on because I liked everything about them better than the stock tires and 18" wheels. Yes, I can do nasty sideways useless burnouts if I stab the pedal, but I can do very effective fast launches with a little practice. Keep in mind the # of square inches of rubber on the road is exactly the same for a 255 as it is for a 225. Only the shape of the contact patch changes from a long narrow rectangle with the 255 to a squarer patch for the 225. The Contis are only $99 bucks and can be rotatad back to front for 10,000 miles usage for the set.
