Great pictures, thanks for sharing man..........

By the way, do you know by any chance what type of camera was used. The pictures had great quality colors, depth, and details,

I went to the web site, downloaded the large picture and looked at the embedded information.

The camera is a Nikon D200, 1/250sec, F3.5, Flash (a big one)

Great lighting. Nice pic.

I don't think that I posted this before here. On my last track day with my 944 (November at VIR), my front stabilizer bar popped off on the driver's side. Some Audi folks found pics that illustrate pretty clearly what a stabilizer bar does. Note that there are TWO different 944s pictured. Mine has the yellow license plate. You can even see the bar hanging down, detached from the end link. I damn near rub the ground!

Link to comparative shots:

Just a pic of my car w/ the droopy sway bar:

I hate to admit it, but neither I nor my instructor noticed a change in handling. It was a very loud clunk that convinced me to pit-in. Luckily, I got it re-attached and was able to finish out the day, leaning a bit less.

Nice pic... Great camera. Your car looks so at home on the track. LOL at Macaulay Culkin in the background.

So what did the S600 run, just out of curiosity?

The S600 ran great times in my opinion. The car consistently ran 12.2 to 12.4 @ 113.5. Some more data of the runs......

60,330,660,mph,1000,1/4, mph

1.977,5.307,8.021,90.85,10.343,12.298,113.88
2.120,5.506,8.248,89.85,10.603,12.570,113.16
1.970,5.330,8.052,90.51,10.388,12.343,113.82
1.961,5.329,8.068,90.04,10.415,12.383,113.20
1.978,5.363,8.107,90.01,10.456,12.417,115.30

Great runs houseclass......

Great pictures, Erick. Thanks for sharing.

I’m not sure if that’s your ‘don’t mess with Texas” or “I’m going to cut a .001 R/T on this run for sure” expression!

Promise us that as soon a you get the twin turbos spooled up, you will posts its 11 second timeslip.

correct, they are Nitto Invo's, best tire i have ever run, and i don't say that lightly, i used to work for Discount Tire...

my 60 ft times were not good because the first run someone dropped something on the track right before my run, so i had to sit there and wait for them to check the track and my tires got cold...

the second run they changed the way they were staging the tree, it went from a full tree to just red and green! not cool...i bogged really bad because i wasn't staged correctly for this setup...i have a specific way that i launch the car everytime and it is based on a full tree...after this i had to run because i already had other plans for the evening and could not stay any longer...oh well, there is always next year

yes, this is my "let's get serious and concentrate on what i am doing at the drag strip so i don't screw up the launch" face

obviously it did not work...

Jon, thanks so much for the info. I'm really impressed by that camera's quality pictures. Every pixel on that picture came out great.

By the way, how do you look at the embedded information in the image?

I wanted to make it out on the track, but I still felt my rear end wasn't quite stable yet. Oh and thanks for the help Erick, I owe you one.

I would be curious to see how many miles you get out of them. Please update us in a few months.
