New brakes

Hi all!

Just wanted to post my new brakes that I have just ordered, they are ;

370x35mm 6 Calipers in front and 342x28mm 4 Calipers in the back.

I ordered the calipers in black, since I've also ordered the 360Forged CF rims.

What do you guys think?

Is it just me, or are the brakes pictured for six-lug wheels?

I hope the ones you receive don't look EXACTLY like these ones, otherwise they won't bolt-up to your wheels....

They are 6390$ and I ordered it from

It's German made, and they are TUV approved, so you know it's good stuff.

Expensive brakes. This set up is even larger than the 6-4 set up on the CLK55. Please update us with pics when you have it on your car. Did you ordered it in Chrome, I think its nice!!!

Yes it is a bit of money, but they are still cheaper then Brembo, and the reports that I've read and heard says that they are just as good.

Will update with photos when all is done, but it wount be until May, since I don't have my leave from my current contract in Lebanon until end of April. But who knows, I might be forced to leave early because of war by the way things are going here right now!

I ordered the calipers in black, because the 360Forged CF I ordered with a matt black inner lip. So I think that will look good, but I will post photos and let you guys decide for yourself.

Cheers/MD

Thanks! I understand that you don't have many "T" models of the C32 over there!? I on the other hand have never seen a C30 CDI, but would love to have one! Maybe as a winter car!

Just read the mods you have on your car, you really need the brakes.
How well do the stock brakes work with such horsepower. I plan to have my car tuned to about 430hp, would like to konw if stock brakes are still capable for such horsepower.

Well, actually I have to say that the standard brakes have worked very well and without any problems. The reason I'm upgrading is two, yes I do want more stoping power, but the main reason is that I'm getting new rims, 360 Forged CF, and they are very "open" so it would look kind of empty behind them with the standard brakes.

I will dyno my car when I'm getting home in April/May, hopefully, and after I've installed Code3Performance HE, IC system, Spacers, new pump and maybe something else, I'm hoping to get about 500-550Bhp and 600-650Nm. I'm about 600Nm now I'm guessing.

But I will keep all of you updated as soon as I know more!

we dont have any
I dont think i have ever seen a c320 wagon. I was surprised too, when i looked in the interior, it had the recent update so I assumed it was a 2005 and +. What was weird about it it still had the twin exhaust not the quad like the C55.

Ever seen a c55 wagon?

Yes we have the C55 T in Sweden, I was very close to get one, but decided to mod my C32 instead. And I don't regret it!
So you guys don't have Any C32/C55 T model? Wow! How come that Mercedes don't take them in to the US? No market for them or what? Do you have the E55 T?

Jeez might as well pay a little more and go for ceramics with that price. Less unsprung weight. I think it would run only about 1k more, I remember the NSX guys discussing it recently:

MIDO was quoting the $6,390 as a price for all four corners, since he said it was cheaper than brembos. The BBK with ceramic rotors that you linked costs $15,000+ for all four corners... so a bit more than just an extra $1k...

He actually got me a bit worried there, if I had missed something. I meen, for just 1000$ more I could have ceramic brakes!! But I new it was to good to be thrue.

And yes, I'm quoting the price for all four corners!

Yes I have seen a few E55 T's and even a E63 T. But no C class touring, the only model was a C240, not sure bout a C320.
