Most of the people that purcahse this will have a stock car and not track it. So these test would be more real world for most people buying it.

When the pulley is ready to go:
(1) Take a BONE STOCK C32 to a drag strip with professional timing devices. Stock filters, stock ECU, street tires, stock everything. Permissible mods: NONE.
(2) Do 0-60, 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile runs. Do at least three and average them. No brake rev, no tricks. Just mash the pedal and go straight.
(3) Drive to a safe place and execute the 15 minute install of the pulley.
(4) Proceed immediately (16th minute) to the starting line at the same track with the same driver and repeat "(2)" above exactly.
(5) Post the results.
I do not care about dyno numbers, or boost levels. I don't care what the final 0-60, 1/8 or 14 times are. I care about how much FASTER the car gets solely as a result of the new pulley wheel.
If you want glory-times with brake revs and open intake and drag slicks, do that AFTER this test.
Show me some numbers and some of my money is yours.

I have the money for this intake and pulley package burning a hole in my man-purse but it seems like it's never going to happen...I'll probably end up spending it on beer and women instead. (If my wife says that's ok)

I totally agree with Fifth on this...the track shows all and even dyno info inputted wrong can yield a better or worse dyno. Test this way better so even the cranked pullied cars can have an equation compared to using this setup instead...I really do hope you are testing a 178mm pullied car with the S/C pulley as well. I think test against a:
1. (Both healthy) S/C pulley car vs a pullied 178mm car...
2. S/C pulley car with intake mod and filters vs a 178mm pullied and ECU tune car.
3. Test a aftermarket filtered car with 178mm pulley with your intake mod.
4. Test a " " " " " " " with Tune and your intake mod...
to all who are interested this will show the difference in real comparison instead of showing whp/tq numbers as comparison.
In my opinion people won't care if for any reason the S/C pulley and intake modded C32 is quicker or slower especially due to pricing. Track it to have people who are or seem hard pressed over it can know these things thus can truely compare. Thanks...

Take a few runs on the freeway, street and during street launches. If you think your car is not performing better.. simply remove and continue with your business.
It was that simple for me.
In fact.. the best test would be a stock C32 with a clutch pulley C32 and run them side by side on the freeway.. from 40 to 90.
Once I can get my hands on one.. and if Brandon is around we can do that.
Not everybody will like the product and some will.. I just know that it works.
If people like crank pullies.. great.. if others are not mechanically inclined this product can get them started.

c'mon.. do you think Code3 is Motortrend?? Not EVEN Renntech, Evosport or VRP does that.
For me it was a simple.
Take the product (borrow one when available) install in your car.

But I'm sure there is going to be someone who is willing to do the back to back runs on the dragstrip given the ease in installation of the pulley compared to the crank pullies.
If anything, it will only boost consumer confidence and would just cost the price of running the car a few 1/4 mile runs.

Just checking in with the promised pictures. Hopefully we can fit the car in on the dyno tomorrow afternoon. I will be out tonight datalogging, and post my results when I get back.
The production piece is perfect. The fit and tolerances are perfect. Here are some shots of a fully assembled production piece. The only difference is that the backplate pictured was pulled out before it got coated, so the production backplate and springs will be black.

Honestly, if all I see is shakey video of 40-90 runs, dyno test of cars that have the pulley... and an intake mod... and headers, or over-the-top testimonials of people who have already bought it, I will NOT buy it.
I need valid numbers. My car feels faster after I wax it. It's human nature.

I took it out last night and gave it a good workout. All is perfect. I am heading out to the dyno in a few hours to get some final numbers. I will check back in this afternoon with some dyno graphs.
By the way, funny story. I take the prototype pulley off an on the car a lot for various reasons. The other day I was driving the car to pick up my son, and the car felt very sluggish and unresponsive. I thought great, whats wrong with the car. I figured when I get back I will see whats going on. Well I dropped off my son, and as I was driving back something caught my eye. It was the prototype pulley in the front seat...I forgot that I had put the stock pulley back on the car the night before The car feels very fast with the small pulley on. That is greatly reinforced when you go back to the stock pulley I felt like an idiot.
By the way, funny story. I take the prototype pulley off an on the car a lot for various reasons. Thats cause it is!!!! Quicker, maybe not, BUt there is empirical evidence that a clean waxed car is indeed faster than a dirty one in top speed, so this statement has some basis in fact. I know that my Stingray boat goes faster when I wax the hull (about 3 MPH on GPS) and air acts like a liquid, so a C32 may indeed be faster when waxed.

I guess Brandon can chime in here as well, but my guess is that this mod (as with 99% of performance mods) will give a noticeable bump in power, with a subsequent trade-off resulting in a decrease in MPG. Consequently, I don't get your post...

Dude I don't think this is going to affect MPG since the supercharger disengages under low load (e.g. freeway cruising). The only drops will be from you wanting to floor it a lot and possibly city driving marginally.
