2003 EVO 8 612whp(sold) 2005 c55 amg R35 GTR
NEW WHEELS
In the market for a new set of wheels
ready to make the purchase but wanted to know if they fit without any problems( spacers, rubbing)
salesman said they WILL fit
first choice
MRR HR6 DIAMOND CUT BLACK
20x9 35mm 235- 30- 20 fronts
20x10.5 38mm 265- 30-20 rears
http://elementwheels.com/products.asp?cat=2237
SECOND choice
MRR GT1 HYPER SILVER
20X8.5 32MM 235- 30- 20 fronts
20X10 43MM 265- 30-20 rears
http://elementwheels.com/proddetail....d=mrrgt12085hs
P.S I know that most people don't run 20 inch rims
but they are few out there that do.
I am not concerned about loosing performance as I have a much faster car to drive on other days
I may plan on lowering the car in the future but only with h&r spring setup.
I am just looking for just the facts.
WILL THEY FIT?

Go for the GT1 for sure. The HR6 looks good, but unless it has a concave face like the M3 CSL wheels, I would go with the GT1. Personally I like my wheels to have a little depth to them...

GT1 should look better on our cars but the other one look nice too. 265/30/20 might work if the car is not lowered but would still look too big I think. There are too many issues to worry about when running 20" lowered. Not worthy I think.

Don't get 20" rims better to stay no bigger then 19" imo...20" will steal power from the rear wheels due to size. If you liked the Evo then I am sure you don't want to be missing any rwhp due to desiring a 20" rim right?

white and whiter
20x9 and 20x10.5...no
20x8.5 and 20x9.5 ...maybe, but you'll need to run some skinny tires 225 front and 245 rear with 30 profile. my friend with e46 330i sedan's running 20" DPEs with those tires.
all I can say is good luck and have fun.
