V12 Bi Turbo?
I was driving on my way to the gym last night and pulled right next to an AMG, it reads V12 Bi Turbo on the badging on the fenders, couldn't exactly make out what kind of AMG since it's a black car. Looks like CL type with 20" wheels, looks factory too. What V12 Bi Turbo AMG Benz' available in the market right now? Especially in a 2 door sedan?

CL65 has been around for awhile, same with the SL65.
Not sure what you mean by "2 door sedan" but as for sedans there is the S65 also.

Yeah I think it was an S65. It was a nice ride. But if it was just me and this dude on the road I would have flagged him for a race...I know I'll loose just want to see where my modded car stacks up ...Ok after googling S65, yeah that's the 4 door sedan I saw.

Yeah it might actually be close since they tend to be in the 12.6 1/4 mile range. With some NOS I bet you could keep it pretty even.

I've raced one and they are fast, but not so quick as they are very heavy. We were about neck and neck BEFORE my JerryTune. Its like my ML55, once you get the mass rolling , it does OK, but getting that fat a** off the digg is tough on the 55 engine. Nearly 3 tons of mass is hard to move.

IIRC, a V-12 biturbo with nitrous was running in the 10's... unfortunately, I don't remember which one it was (S, CL, SL, 600 or 65). I remember seeing a video of it, though; it launched like a rocket.

From dragtimes.com, chipped S65's tend to be low-mid 11's, with the fastest being roughly 11 flat @ 129... I don't think any C32 is keeping up with that. MAYBE the LET twin-turbo car, once it's completed - and that's just a big "maybe" at this point (although I'd be thrilled to see it happen).

DarkXerox, he saw it in a parking lot, at night; it even had aftermarket 20" wheels... assuming it's a "stock S65" is just a guess on your part - IMHO, not a good one either, when a simple reflash nets huge gains with that engine
Either way, only the very quickest heavily modded C32's stand a chance of keeping up with a bone-stock S65, and if the car's even chipped, forget it.

I dunno about 12.5. I had my SL65 at the dragstrip last night and even though it was 97 degrees out when I ran I still put down an 11.9. That was only my 2nd time to the dragstrip as well so there's a lot more to squeeze out of it with more practice and a better 60'.

I have a friend who has a c55 like mine, except he is going to kleemann in colorado springs to get the stage 7 kit done....29k dollars which equals 750hp...in a c55...i think that should walk a dog on an S65...correct me if i am wrong.
Also it seems like a lot of people degrade their cars....my belief is that if you have money...you can make anything fast. case in point, my friend who is doing the kleemann deal, his car already smokes lamborghinis and stuff...it is a c55, but hell...how many cars can smoke a lamborghini?

The S65 is definitely looking stock, and the owner is on his phone the whole time I was driving next to him. I mean, there's no road for a race anyway as we were driving on a heavily congested road. But from what I can tell it looks all stock --but assumptions can be a killer.

My friend is in the Army like i am. He just chose to do his car (which he had before our deployments) when he got home. Me, well i bought the clk63..I deploy again (tour number 5) in Jan 09. When i come home, i will be doing the same things to my c55 from kleemann. I just hope that the prices go down a bit. My goal is to have one of the fastest street cars around and i was told that the c55 is a great platform to do it with.

well, its a start...especially when he hasnt even gone to kleemann yet. I also think that realisticly for the every day joe who cant afford a lambo, having a car that walks a dog on one isnt to bad considering those cars are some of the fastest on the street anyway. I dont think that anyone would mind it if they owned a car that can do that...i know i wouldnt mind. Especially it being a Benz.

Seeing is believing....Give Kleeman in Colorado Springs a call....talk to Brandon. I did, and thats what he told me..I have no doubts....as far as a stage 8? never heard of it...Brandon says that a stage 7 is the highest they go...i guess you can call him a liar then...i mean he only works there. For me, I will see the dyno numbers from my friends car when he gets it done. Why would a reputable company tell a customer that the stage 7 that they sell for 29k will produce 750 hp if it wont? HMMMMMMMMM?

The "Stage wars" got a bit complicated. I think that S7 in the US mapped to S3 as shown on the Kleeman site, and S8 adds the cams (S4 in Denmark). You can search on "stage 8" and find lots of reference to the cams being the difference between S7 and S8, but not being a big payback for the expense. I also believe that the difference between the Kleeman Denmark numbering and Colorado's has to do with adding non-engine mods like LSD and suspension changes.
I'm sure everyone here would love to see a 750 HP dyno. BTW, lots of things on a stock W203 would break before you got there. You'd need lower-case reinforcement to start and lots of drivetrain weak links would need to be replaced as well. Be careful what you wish for.

There are (or were) at least 3 people on MBWorld with 55 Stage 8 cars - AMGSC, JamE55, and Ted_Baldwin.
In fact, at least 2 may be Stage 8+ (custom).
If I can recall correctly, 55K S8 cars have ~600hp maximum at the crank (and probably not even that).
