Good luck with the sale. I have had my 03 with 36K miles for sale for months and it has not sold. It was susposed to be gone last weekend and the guy never showed up to pay

For some reason these cars are not movers. I think mine is priced more than fair so it is not the price it must be the market.

If I had to guess on price for your maybe 16K-17K. I am not sure where you are located but maybe if you are on the West Coast it will go quicker. I had a handful of people tell me if the car was in Cali it would be sold.

My suggestion would be to part out the mods and sell the car stock. You will get more money in your pockect that way.

+1, I paid $20 for an 04 Black with only 22 K miles on it and a clear car fax from the original owner (who I also knew); The market for the C32 is very weak/cold and if you can get in the mid-teens, take the $$ and run. Thats a LOT of miles too for a luxury car. I doubt you'll be seeing 17-18, BUT there's a buyer for everything and a price to match. Bud, what are you asking for yours???

Other problem is, the C55s are tanking in the market as well and they are the "newer" models to ours. The C63s are taking a bite out of the C55 values. And thus the cycle continues...............................

I am asking $20,499.00 it also comes with another year warranty from MB. It has 36K miles. Have service records and 2nd local owner. I am very picky with my cars so it is in great cond inside and out.

I thought when I dropped it to $20,499 it would go quick but I guess not. I may drop the price one more time and then I am done with trying to sell it. I will either trade or just keep it.

another reference point. I bought my 2002 C32 w/ 49K miles for $17.5K. If you talk about a small market for used used C32's...you're looking at an even smaller one for one with so many aftermarket parts. Most buyers will not buy a used car that's heavily modded, since it will give potential buyers the impression that it was driven hard. You're not going to be able to recoup your aftermarket costs if you don't part out, so you might want to think about that option.

i would say it would be closer to $14-16k. Mods dont add value to the car. Part it out and sell it. I bought my 02 with 60k miles for $19k about 9months ago. I say dont sell it unless you really have too.

Try craigslist, I'd guess more people there are looking for modded cars. You could make two threads and give some time in between, one with mods and price and other stock and price. GL!

I have sold bikes, snowmobiles and cars with mods and you get more money back parting it out for sure. Plus it is a bit easier to sell when stock. Expect for a nice set of wheels.

yeah when i was trying to sell my modded civic, the only people that came out to see it were 19yr olds with no money. Then when i sold it stock, it was to a guy that was 50yrs old, buying a car for his son.

I'll take $23k if someone wants to buy my car as is with all the mods...lol

as everyone said...part it out makes you more $$ in return. selling it with parts is of course less hassle.

I paid $13K for my C32 with 105K.....

The market is real bad for these cars, last week a 02 C32 with 60K miles went for $16K at a dealer so i cant imagine more then $13-15K for a C32 with over 100K.

depreciation...

I was happy to get a 2003 C32 in 2006 which had depreciated about $30K. I shouldn't have been surprised when it dropped another $10K the 15 months or so I owned it! Between the gas mileage and depreciation these vehicles are real bombs! You could probably pay a mortgage on a decent place for the same money and actually have something to show for it at the end of the day.

Good luck!

Ben

LOL Ben. If memory serves me right, I purchased your car with 53K miles for $22.5K.
BTW - the car drives great and has seen quite a few mods since in my possession.

How is Australia treating you?

Oz is fine. Glad you like the car. Did you post lowered pics? They are a bit spendy in Australia. The C32 retailed down under for $150,000 in 2003, although I've yet to see one on the street in Perth. Gas here is about $6/gal.

Yeah if i knew the price of houses in california would go down 50% in 6months, i probably wouldn't have bought the c32.

If you decide to sell the grill and rims before you trade it in please let me know. I have not had much luck selling mine so it looks like I may keep it.

I will send you a PM also
