Okay, first off I apologize for not only neglecting to dyno this combination yet, but also for not getting to the track. I know a lot of people have been awaiting these results, and I have failed you. With that out of the way, I did put this combo to the test late last night. Got it up to 180 MPH and shut it down due to another car in my sights. I probably could have gotten a few more MPH out of it with a longer stretch of clear road.

Very impressive - sounds like your car's running strong.

Be careful with those high speed runs though, amigo...

I didn't check at this particular time, but I usually run about 21-22 psi in the higher gears. I do get a little belt slip still, but I have combated most of it with my idler pulley modification. I get about 70% belt wrap with my configuration. Unfortunately, no dyno or 1/4 mile numbers; this is the only tangible data I have so far. I plan to visit the local strip in the next couple of weeks.

Props to you eleventeen, that is amazing. Do you have the transmission modified or is it stock? Also, what is your 0-60 time? I assume low 4s and high 3s. Show us some videos to see how the car runs;-)

When I was stationed over there, we just got tickets by hidden cameras. Never once saw law enforcement on the road.

180???! WOW!

Make sure you're safe! It's good to see you shutdown when you saw another car in sight.

At 180 if you see a cop, procede to do these steps:

1) Don't panic.
2) Keep Right foot Planted
3) gain confidence that in 20 seconds, you are going to have put a MILE between you and the cop.
4) Just keep going.

p.s. i've never been to 180! but it's worked for me about a dozen times starting from the sounth end of 140 on a motorcycle.

You forgot step 5 - take the first available major exit or cross street, and proceed to nearest busy area (gas station, strip mall, etc.)

If you just "keep going" he's bound to radio ahead to someone else, while commencing pursuit...

Very true.
Me being on a motorcycle and able to fit just about anywhere, i've never had to take a step 5. but for those of us in cars that do 180, i agree step 5 is very advisible.

I think a 180mph club should be started...

Since I had my LET tune I have been itching to top my car out! Springtime maybe...

Yeah, the first time I saw these videos a while back, they took me by surprise My car was still accelerating when I let off, but just barely. I don't think I can quite hit the 185+ range yet, but with more empty road, who knows. If I do go any faster, I'll need my radar gun since our U.S. speedos stop at 180. I don't think 190 mph is out of the question for one of these cars with the right mods. Either way, its faster than my C5 Z06 could go.
