C32 Vs Rx7 vs Z28
Last night, Jturkel, our other roommate, and i decided to take a drive down to Mexico for a night of fun.
The Z28 was the chase car and had a little extra baggage ( two people) but all in all it was some good racing. All of our cars were with in about a car of each other up around 120ish, which provided some really good races through out the night.
as the mod list says on the video, none of our cars are very heavily modded however, that didnt stop us from needing to see who is the fastest. Upon that note i would like to say that the best mod any of us had done was joshs freshly cleaned air filters ( believe it or not..... it made a humongous difference!) in other previous races with the Z28 the out come was a lot different for JTurkel.
see thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/265879-nasty-air-filters-question.html
my car for being what it is... did fairly well considering it has about 100 Hp less than either cars
see thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/265927-im-appearently-newb-lol-hello-everyone.html
and finally the video you have all been waiting for... enjoy!

there was an additional race that we were unable to record due to technical difficulties with the camera/camera man.
LS1 vs C32 AMG. 50 mph to 120. dead even all the way. there were 360 pounds of people in the C32 and 330 in the LS1 (we rearranged the weight for this). I pulled slightly ahead because he chirped one gear but then he started creeping back at about 120. cleaning the intake filters honestly made THE biggest difference. befre the LS1 had an exhaust and i was running my current setup, he would pull a car per gear or so. now that he has an exhaust and i cleaned my filter, we are dead even!
