got into it with an SRT-8
So the other night I got into it with an SRT-8 300c. The guy was following me forever so ended up taking a detour down this long 3 lane road with no one on it. and i let the srt8 catch up to me he was about a 1/2 car length ahead of me when we both jumped on it. for about a second i thought he was going to pull on me. as we both had the throttle pinned. my C55 pulled even then slowly started to pull away. I had to lift for a 1/2 second as i thought i was going to hit a dip in the road and bottom out. IF i didnt lift for that very small time maybe i could have beat the srt8 by more. I dont know what that str8 had for mods but it was quick Much faster than SRT-8 Charger i destroyed at the drags. IF the SRT-8 was lighter it would have got me. so today i went to the dyno and I'm down 15 or so HP. The quest for 350whp is hard road.

Those 300c srt-8s are quick stock. Low 13s@107+mph. But I know this guy who has a bolton srt-8 with 390whp. Which ran 12.6@114mph. Funny thing is I kept up from a roll with my stock Clk55.

He was trying to pick a race with a 350Z, but the Z wasn't biting. He then tried me once and I jumped out about 3 carlengths on him real quick and he gave up. I tried slowing down so he could get up alongside me again, and he wouldn't get anywhere near me after that.

my friend who had an 05 vette when he lost his first race. I was in the car with him and he just about cried when a older mitsubishi (not an evo but some other car i cant remember) blow the doors of of him. It was very funny to watch him get pissed.

If the SRT8's were much lighter ,they would destroy us. But for a big car those things move,stck or modded. If I owned an W210 E55 I would drop in the 6.1liter hemi motor from a salvaged SRT8 and create another beast like I have already.

Good kill hooley, those srt's are a dime a dozen here in Miami. I would run into them all the time and kick there butt! Funny thing is I just ran into the srt charger with my truck and beat him, he didn't seem to happy after a big truck just beat him LOL.

+1 on the kills!! I've run a new Challenger (2500 miles ) of a client and took him by about 2 cars (easily) in a lil less than 1/4 mile drag. The SRT-8 Charger is heavy and from a digg to about 80, I've taken those with the ML55 as well (they get me after that). Its was wet too and nothing beats the ML when its wet!!!
