Stage 2?
Just a quick question with my current setup will I qualify as Stage 2 or do I need to do the headers upgrade? Car is pretty quick with the LET ECU tune/181mm Pulley combo.

Honestly I think with the 178mm there is a accurrate stage list but combining 181 or 185mm with a tune yeilds more performance then do the old stats...loungn14s' car with just 185mm and custom tunes was as fast or faster then a C32 with headers, NOS, Cammed, 185mm + tune so I think we really need to change the order now...

IMO I think "stage" only applies to cars fitted with one companies mods and they offer "stage packages". For example: I have a Renntech stage1 (C/F airbox & ECU) But I also have EVOsport headers and a custom dual exhaust. Does this make me a stage2???... No. I am simply a Renntech stage1 (as they offer it) with Evosport headers and so on... IF you tell someone you have a stage 2 C32 or C55. They are going to have no idea what you are talking about unless you have a tuners name infront, Like LET stage2, Evosport stage 2, Renntech stage 2, or Kleemann stage 2 etc.... and thats only if they offer stage packages. Again IMO you are not any "stage" when you are mixing multi-tuners products. Dont worry about your stage number just worry about if your fast or not.
It looks like you have a LET stage 1, It would be hard to call it a LET stage 2, if you don't have LET headers, That being said, its going to be hard for you to be a LET stage 2, because they don't make headers anymore I think. Right now I got a few companies products on my car... what does that equal?? I call it the "Hooleyboy Stage2 kit" and it comes highly recommended for C55er's by yours truly.

Plugs and Wires
I spoke to Erick (former LET) and he suggested to me that since I only have 62K miles on my car that I won't need to change the plugs and wires maybe in another 10-15K miles....I just got the car in July and have done all the mods I can afford for now
I also went with the K&N filters since I was planning on putting the LET air intake in the car. I would definitely plan to swapped out to 185mm pulleys sometime soon.
I know it's not a power mod but I'm thinking of installing some coilovers(Tein SS or PSS9) or do the koni yellow shocks and H&R springs combo next since I want to lower the car. I'm also going with staggered 19's for the wheel and tires.
Loungn14 how much do your rims weigh?

This is the way I see it: +35-40 Hp (crank) per "stage". You can bolt all the crap you want, but if it's not making any power (or maintain it), it's worthless.
Plugs, wires, phenolics, heat exchangers, intercoolers, lighter battery, lighter wheels, LSD, etc can take you to that next level, but it's the engine that you need to tweak in other to get max power: pulleys, intake, headers, exhaust, cams, internal porting and so on. And most importantly.. a tune!
If you net a +70-80 crank HP after your mods, you should consider your car in a Stage 2.
My .02 cents

Victor is right, I am considered to have a Stage -1 since I took off parts like the engine cover
