Code 3 spacers or LET spacers?

Discuss?

Thinking about picking up the LET spacers private party. Are the Code 3s a better choice?

You'll get a mixed bag of opinions here regarding phenolic spacers. Some feel they help control IAT's, some feel they're worthless (and possibly detrimental, if they cause any boost leakage).

Most that think they're worthwhile tend to think the C3P spacers are the better option - they're quite a bit thicker, so their thermal insulating properties are much better. They also cost twice as much - last I saw, LET's were $45 MSRP (so, from a private party, presumably $30ish is the max you'd spend):

Depends, do you want the spacer sometime soon, or would you like them aged like like a fine wine.

We offer spacers that go between the SC and the cylinder heads. It's a different approach then just seperating the two pieces of the intake manifold.

Interesting. What are the specs on that setup? I have LET spacers on mine. May consider adding something along the lines of your product come spring....

Our spacers are fairly simple to install, there's a write up on here somewhere.

Basically they actually remove the SC and the engine. The other spacers just move the top part of the intake manifold apart from the bottom part. This works well for testing with an Infrared sensor on the surface, but the air is still passing through the much hotter part to get in the cylinder head.

Both spacers have their place.

When I was asking about the "specs", I wasn't meaning the install, I meant performance/cooling gains documented with your spacers. The install seems fairly straight forward.
