All we are waiting on is the crank pulley and the car is ready for the dyno. Dyno-Comp is trying to get the machinist to get it done ASAP. It is really the only thing we are waiting on. The shop knows I have a Friday night deadline So its really going to come down to getting this damn crank pulley back.

Yes I will be at Dyno-Comp Saturday and my car will be there one way or another. Lets hope i'm driving it there.

Thats a big task. I'm always up for the challenge though.. I should have taken pics of the custom ice box too. Its going to come down to pulley size, IF I go to big on the pulley the motor will go Boom. I'm going to see if I'm happy with around 450whp

I have even bigger plans down the road.

Why don't you do the calculation on Alumar's pulleys and copy those respectively and then get a copy of that tune??? Save the cams that should work well.

Dude that's looking awesome! I see that the car is going to remain MAF equipped, I'm curious as to how the tuning will be with that. Aren't they supposed to be more tuneable vs a MAP car?

I have not idea if its more tunable vs map sensor cars. The car is done if we only had this damn crank pulley. The engineer who is making the pulley is starting to get under my skin.

lol....i hate crank pulleys....hate to to go here, but i tried installing my LET 185 crank pulley tonight and its wobbly....looks like AAA is getting a call in the morning.

mike, will your car still be done by friday or saturday?

"If" I can get the crank pulley back from the machine shop it will be ready to go. I sure Rich over at Dyno-comp is getting pissed that my car is just sitting on his lift. He's doing his best to try and meet the deadline.

If its not done by then maybe I will tag along with one of you guys and video tape your runs.

For a good comparo there's a member here w/w210 E55 Kleemann blower gained 50-60whp, headers/x-pipe/hi-flo cats/ wont = 40 rwhp. I'm betting you'll see 400-410 rwhp 420 rwto..

Save up for some Dymag CF wheels or find a comparatively lightweight set of wheels I.E. 15-17 lbs each will get you EZ 25-30 rwhp

I respectfully disagree...
My Supercharger will be running 8psi of boost with a fully independent intercooler system complete with its own reservoir, custom made AEM intake along with a custom dyno tune.

I'e said to myself may of times "what if I dont make 450whp?" Its not a big deal. I've had my heart broken on a Dyno Dynamics dyno many of times. I just dont see any reason why my setup wont make 100whp more. Its really going to be be a nicely thought out setup.

Kleemann kits run about 6psi of boost if I'm correct? two psi more on an 11.1CR car is what going to get me to my goal.

This car wont be the fastest car, but with the AMG Lysholm blower able to make more boost then Renntech, Kleemann, or HPS blowers could be the deciding factor.... we'll see what happens Thursday when its on the dyno.

I wouldn't even be surprised if it eclipses the 450 mark. Not to mention I'm always running a mix or race fuel. Win loose or draw I will post the results for you all.

UPDATE

The crank pulley came out amazing this is a very bad pic of it (Sorry).

I took the day off of work to help out at the shop so I could meet the deadline of Friday. I had my hands well into the car today. They gave me the honors of starting it up and... It started right up.

On the down side the welds on the custom oil filter housing were leaking to the point they were making farting sounds.. Kinda funny. Had to take the oil filter housing off. It will be rewelded and back on the car before I'm even out of bed Thursday morning. Other than a funny idle on the first start up and the oil leak the car was running today.

Looks very similar to my pulley that I installed on my CLK55 with the IHI AMG blower.
