How Fast is my 02' C32?

I have never tracked my AMG, but wonder how fast she is based on the upgrades I have installed (Anyone care to guess?)

1) SC Cooling Pump replaced by dealer 1yr ago
2) Code 3 SC Pulley
3) K&N Air Filters
4) Code 3 Redline Synthetic Transmission maint. kit (Oil & Filter)

Not much in terms of upgrades so far, but she feels like she runs really strong. Example: Friend got a new G37, and wanted to see if he could take me. With the Code 3, he got embarrassed real fast...

0-60 ?
1/4 Mile ?

the best thing to do is just PM someone with the same mods as you. I believe the car does mid 13's stock so probably low 13's with the code3 pulley. I believe jurkel got 13.083 with his code3 pulley. i dont know if that was before or after the intake.

I got Code3 + Code3 intake before. Without tune I ran 4.6s 0-60 and 13.17s 1/4 on street tires with my G-Tech. With tune I ran 4.8s 0-60 lol and 12.9s 1/4. Keep in mind I am not a super driver

ETs and trap speeds depend on so many variables, that it is really difficult to compare them

i ran 13.083 at 109. My mods were a code3 s/c pulley, code3 belt wrap kit, and the full SL55 intake (boxes, hoses, splitter with K&Ns)......now, I run on 91 octane unlike most others who run 93 (91 is not avaialbe to me) and the DA here is much higher (3500+) than it is in other places. there are lots of variables to consider....

with just a code3, i would expect in my conditions to trap 106-ish......but i trapped 100ish stock...again depends on conditions

lets just say that E46 M3s wont keep up

throw on some more mods now

13's sound right.

I run about a 3.6 0-60 and trap 115ish, but I am a little more modded then you....

oh, and josh, welcome to the 12's club...

Thanks for all the input guys! I figured with the modest mods, I would be in the low, low 13's. I did a standing burnout the other day on a dry parking lot at work with the littlest of ease. Smoke was everywhere!!! The two dark tire marks were were impressive. I thought we didn't have LSD/posi traction on our cars? Aren't they the same thing?

Either way, I have been very happy with my ride, and the code 3 has breathed new life into an already awesome contender on the road.

3.6 to 60 is insane. Bet nobody wants to line up with you at a stoplight. If I remember correctly you had the 185 pulley, HE, NGK plugs, LET tune, CM30 pump, and a little nos? Did you ever get the code 3 intercooler installed?
Sorry for all the questions, I am saving up to get the 185 pulley kit, CM30, Heat exchanger and LET tune. How fast will the car get to 60 with these mods only?

code 3 belt wrap kit helps prevent belt slip. belt slip could occur because the code3 supercharger pulley is smaller than the stock one and you are using the same belt....thus, slighlty more belt than before. it also happens to add another .5lbs of boost or about 7whp (i have not personally dynoed this). it also seems to shift a littler quicker when under WOT conditions.

I did the Code3 intake first and then added the C3P pulley. Stock I was trapping 13.54 ET @ 103 under DA conditions that were sealevel. That was uncorected. My reaction times (0.6 sec) and 60 ft times (over 2 sec) were slow and so, I know I could have done better.

Stock my 0-60 was all over the place but was mostly hi 4's to low 5's with a high of 5.6 and a low of 4.55 however, this was very traction limited since my rear Pirellis at the time were just about shot. My ave 0-60 time was 4.8-5.1 sec. After the mods, my 0-60 times improved by about 3 tenths on average but the best time is still in the 4.5 sec range it is just more consistently there. However, when it does spin on the launch forget it, lol. In one run, I held the brake just enough to engage the SC immediately, whooo that was NOT the way to a quick launch. Sure was fun though. 1st, 2nd, 3rd all up in smoke while the car just sat there churning and burning them worn out Pirellis

Since then, I swapped to Bridgestone Re050-PP tires (big improvment). I've not done much testing since but we did do a 0-100 run that timed just over 12 sec which tells me that my previous 103 trap speeds thru the 1/4mi should be improved alot. I am expecting low 13's out of it at ~109ish but we will see.

The key to good 1/4mi or 0-60 times is the launch and the available traction. With the pulley and other mods, the launch becomes even more critical cause it is easier to blow it. Driver skill (or lack of) can affect the outcome by 0.5 sec easy and maybe more. I'm hoping to do an ECU tune next.

Ya, the cars a monster out of the hole- A truely red light demon.
Yup, got that installed plus some other Eurocharged/LET stuff, and some super secret stuff as well.

your 0-60 with the 185 on streets and mods suggested will be around 4-4.2. When you wanna get those mods let me know and I can get you a deal.

Please keep in mind to pull off such a fabulous 0-60 or low 12 run takes good amount of practice (thanks US41 ) You could have the same mods as Jake and still run a 13s if you are inexperienced...I seen inexperienced dragsters run 13s in a E55...practice makes perfect.

I definitely understand that you have to have skill to pull off such 0-60 and 1/4, but I dont think it should be very hard with sticky tires or dr's.

You got me, I have never been to the track before, but I assume that it is 50% easier if you have the drags to get out the hole. I understand what you said about needing skill, you should know the best having the fastest C32. With the new mods you have, will you be able to get into the high 11s (without nos)? BTW i love the look of your car, you dont see too many white c32s. Most of them are Black and Silver (mine).
