Took the Code 3 for a run...
Wow...is all I can say. Very big difference all around. Was still nervous about the bolt torquing, but everything seems to have worked out, so that's good.
All that's left is to go to Vadim at VRP and have the car retuned.

retune will be good too! not sure how much more you get out of a retune, but i'm sure it will run more efficiently and you may squeeze out some more power!

Just make sure you don't push it too hard till you get a retune. You will throw a CEL as you NEED more fuel to run the 185.

I just hope that bolt doesn't fly off. It's only tq'd down to 15 and all..... Kidding! You'll be fine. Now get your intake done and dyno along the way.

Not to steal your thread, but for all you C3p SC pulley dudes, has anyone run into any A/F issues. I read the post of when the pulley first came out and saw a A/F graph that showed that our cars actually ran richer with the pulley. I'm thinking of doing the pulley but I'm a little scared since my previous car was also SC and I added more boost and everything kinda went KABOOM!!

+1....elgato: you are fine if you run more fuel or slightly rich. and if you dont feel comfortable with it, you could always get the car tuned to make it more to your liking or preference

Yup, did that a few months back per your recommendation. Sounds great and I think it may even help it breath a little better up top. Similar to a cowl induction....

You must enjoy the WTF looks you get from people when romping on it and gradually putting down the throttle. Given your mods, what did you dyno? I see the C32 AMG as a sleeper since it's a C class and doesn't even have a quad exhaust to give away anything. Many will forsake it for a regular C. One thing I don't like is the cloudy headlights but I see some owners put on the clear lens style which is much more updated.

Many who have a C3P SC pulley always seem to recommend the LET tune with it saying it woke the car up more.

That's just the LET tune in general waking the car up. As you know, that tune will wake any car up, regardless of current mods. Difference being a car with the C3P pulley does not "need" a tune to run safely where as a 181/185 pulley does need that tune to run properly/safely.
