Custom illuminated door sills...
Does anyone here know a person or company who does custom illuminated door sills for our AMGs? I know back in the old C sportcoupe forums, there was a guy who did it. Custom designs, and light colors.
Does such a thing exist for our AMGs? I'm really looking to do it to add a little individuality to my car.

there a couple on ebay. here's a diy with a picture with it lit up. i personally think its kinda of a ricey mod though. but i wouldnt mind having aluminium amg door sills.

+1...worked with Jerry (owner) a lot on several products. We are working on illuminateted sills with different color besides blue (i.e. red)...he sent me the necessary parts and we are testing them out with regards to setup and color quality.

I might need to clarify...he has "helped" me out with getting the right stuff for my cars...i.e. great customer service. I don't want to give the impression I was helping develop products.
With the illuminated sills, I was seeing if there were sills that put off a red hue. He stated nothing was developed yet but knew of the parts needed to get it done, but didn't know how it would look in the car. He sent me the parts and that is what my installer is trying to do now...1) to see if it works and 2) does it look good.

i had the formymercedes (mercedes benz) ones for the last 2 years...still going strong, now they even offer different colors than the blue that they only had when i bought mine...now that I got my c55 I'll be getting some new ones for it but in Red and that say AMG this time!

Something Slow
For my mercedes are making the LED Style now its much better & Brighter than the older version i have a Set of RED to replace my Blue old "Mercedes Benz" just waiting for them to die.. i had them installed for over 5+ years :-) the ballast do go bad from time to time..
