Anyone use Code3 Mid-Size Pulley?

Anyone use the Mid-Size pulley from Code3 in conjunction with your 178mm crank pulley(reg Code3 Pulley)? How are the results? Any numbers? thinking about either replacing my regular Code3 pulley with the 185 pulley or getting the code3 mid-size to use with my Code3. Any opinions on both C3 pulleys vs the 185? Also, just to clarify...I can run both the Code3 pulleys or is the mid-sized C3 pulley not a crank pulley?
Thanks,
Bobby C.

185 much faster than the code3. just switched from the code3 to the 185 and can tell you that is a fact. as far as the midsize pulley, an srt6 is using it on the srt6 forum. check it out over there. they seem to like it. that would require you to sell your current code3 s/c pulley though, get the new midsize code3 s/c pulley, get a 178mm crank pulley (evosport, asp, renntech, or kleemann) and then get the code3 belt wrap kit (required for running both a 178 crank pulley and the midsize code3 s/c pulley).

I don't know about the 185 but I started with the 178, so it was better for me to go with the code3 mid pulley(68mm). You would have to buy two new pulleys to run this setup. As far as the mid pulley and 178 crank combo I ran 12.0@115 on 19" street tires 2 weeks ago. I was only making 18psi due to belt slip. Brandon just overnited me a new belt wrap kit and belt and I will be hitting the track tomorrow with hopefully better results.

LET C32 2002
Well I suggest looking closely at AFRs with that setup if it more powerful then a 185mm and LET tune with that course of action you need to get the new C3P midsize pulley, 178mm pulley, and Tune to smooth everything out especially with the AFR and a belt wrap is recommended also. With LET all you need is 185mm and Tune and many of us are running safely.

If you ran a 12.0 on that combo honestly not what I expected from that combo...we here in Chicago land area have SRT6s running the 185mm and LET tune and are in the 11s. Its safe to say that that setup on our heavier C32 won't yield as good as you. Keep in mind Loungn14 had a 12.4 prior to 12.3 on the 185mm and LET tune and also on heavy 19" wheels. Your time is very impressive just expected more.....are their any dynos showing AFRs with this setup on your forum?

BTW keep us posted with your track times with belt wrap

My AF are more than fine. 11.0-12.5 I just pulled my plugs to go one step colder for the nitrous. They all look like this.

I have to admit I thought this setup would make over 20 psi, but I was only seeing 19.5 today with the wrap kit. I went to a different track today and it was horrible. I blew the tires off every time(2.1-2.5 60ft), had to let out and get back in it and still ran a 12.5@115. The car should have trapped at least 117 if I could have made a clean pass.
I know of only one car that has gone 11's with the 185. Riot, and he has never posted a slip or a video???
Anyway I love this setup, but I want more boost so I might just try the 185.

What kind of intake temps is Loungin seeing with the 185, what does his AF look like and how consistant are his trap speeds. I see he went 109 one run then 115. What was the difference? That is quite a jump in MPH.

My intake temps today were 122-125 and I was trapping 115 all day long except on my last pass where ESP or traction control kicked in, eventhough I had it turned off, and I still managed 113.

Maybe a little boost leak somewhere?? 178mm ASP with code3 Midsize Pulley is bigger than 185mm (compressor Ratio 2,5). But I think every car differs a little according to the boost level...

my intake temps are not bad at all, I have the LET intake. Trap speeds are extremely consistant. The difference is a couple of weekends with the car strapped down on the dyno and some cooling. I would also suggest a 30 shot of NOS into the throttle body. It does more for the cooling. I split the cooling system and that has helped trememdously.

At the track I can hit over 22psi (throw code) on a routine basis on the drag radials. I don't bother to clear the code until we are going home!
