If your car is running absolutely the way you want it to, I recommend getting multiple multi-metric readings from all of the monitors, get the 'drives to work', the long cruises... record them all.
Then use the export/mail feature to send yourself the .xls file. That way you have all of the various readings on your car when you know it was running they way it should.
I have this on my car and it is helping me narrow down why im running very rich on my A/F atm.
With all of the baseline readings you will be able to identify various components that are having issues (o2 sensors, Mass air flow readings, mpg histogram ... etc) ... if you record a few weeks you can pull it all into excel, dump it into a single file by date and use the chart wizard to build out a trend analysis.
I have a great chart built in excel i could post on here for folks that have the REV application, you can just dump your readings into the data input fields and the other sheets have pre-built pivot tables and charts that provide a great visual on how your car is doing.
(i know...im a dork...but i work in finance and build tools like that for maco and ebita models
...ironically, a lot of the logic in those works well for our data outputs)
