supercharger noise
I have been getting as loud rattle from the supercharger of my c32. The clutch has been removed and the end cover. .Could anyone help me with the following question. Should the enclosure at the end with gear etc be filled with oil?? Mine was dry? Or does this area get oil from the engine? Would really appreciate any advice/assistance. ..Thankyou..David

How many miles do you have on your car?
I had to replace my bearings at 70000...and I believe quite a few others did as well. My sc sounded like a cement mixer prior to doing it.

hi ..my c32 has done 62000 miles and is certainly a very quick car but I hate all the looks at the intersections when I stop and the SC slows and then clatters real loud. I still dont know whether the front chamber should be full of oil or is fed from the engine oil tho ..Do you have any idea from your experiences?

Yeah im thinking about it their pretty cheap too as compared with the dealer where they are twice as much and dont deliver any extra whp, but i think ill just get the bearing this time around and maybe later ill start doing some mods. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what else makes a c32 feel faster or is a nice addition?

C32 s/c bearing

I'm looking for this bearing too. I ordered a few back in like 2013 and just went through my last one. The work is very easy if you have some basic tools, but you will need a press. I bought a Harbor Freight $100 press.
The location of this bearing is inside the s/c pulley. I'm going to be doing this very soon, I will try and have less beers this time and remember to take pictures to post here. If you never hear from me again, it's because of beer.
Going by memory:
These are the broad strokes. There are some learn-as-you-go things like, you will need a press fitting (I use a big socket) that is the right size to be big enough to push on the bearing outer-race, but small enough to fit into the hole in the pulley. I last did this about 5 years ago, so proceed at your own risk

Going by memory:
- Take a picture of your belt.
- Remove the belt from the S/C pulley (there is a pulley in the serpentine path that has a spring on it, you put a wrench on that to relieve the tension and pull the belt off the s/c)
- You'll want the tool that looks like a needle-nose, but has the points to remove a snap ring (like this: https://i5.walmartimages.com/asr/a2f...230035bfc.jpeg)
- You need to remove a screw that is on a rotating part, so you have to bind up the pulley
- The s/c pulley and bearing can be pried off the s/c, but it's kind of a *****. Go slow.
- You use the press to push out the old bearing.
- Use the press to press in the new bearing
- Put it all back together, you will know the belt path because you took a picture.
