sell the slk55 and buy a lotus elise. One gokart and one torque monster. You'll definitely appreciate the c55 more.

I drove my friend's elise through the twisties and it was great fun but I can't say I liked it more than the kick in the pants when you stomp on the gas on an amg.

Buy an ML63 with a Powerchip tune. Beats those potholes and has fantastic power. Plus your wife will love it

i'm selling my BBS RE forged.

IMO..this is just IMO. HREs are just trendy. while they're forged wheels with good quality, but the prices are not justified. BBS, Volks, Work wheels, etc IMO all have better and consistence quality. I wasn't particularly happy with the HRE's finish and paint quality although I loved the particular design I had.

from my experience the barrel HRE use are not that strong. I've seen them bent all the time.

there are used HREs out there for less.

Loving your AMG

Dude, I feel your pain. I had a good buddy who lived in Santa Monica and I can tell you what he did. Leave the City! He moved to Tennessee where the women are fast and the roads are pretty, lol. I just came back from a three day blast thru Deals Gap, TN in the AMG, that will bring back the love.

However, if you are stuck in L.A., then just get out on the weekends and drive up into the San Angeles Crest or north up the coast roads or south to Palomar. Those twisty roads make our cars shine and give them the chance to stretch their legs. I know that the CHP is more like the Gestapo than is the case in many more rural states and the chippys have no sense of humor when it comes to speeding but it is what it is.

BTW: I am 6'2" and 265 and I fit in the Lotus Elise just fine. You should at least test drive one or rent one for a day. It is like a race car for the street but not as fast as my modded C32 in a straight line. Close but not quite as quick. I have actually been looking at the Elise as a "Next Car".

Seriously, take it on some switchbacks and then you'll realize the british know a thing or two about making a car with sublime handling.

Just don't try to put more than 1 case of beer in the trunk. It doesn't work, i've tried

You got to get that car out in an area you can enjoy it in. a would say a tank full of race fuel and go beat the **** out of the thing when it begs for more, donky punch it again. It just might add the spice needed to fall back in love.

The only way to feel whole and love again is to release your possessions and donate them to the CKovach Foundation for Lost AMG Love. We even pay the shipping...

You're in the LA area. Get that think out for a beat run around Mulholland Dr. Lay waste to those rear tires. Then do what Vader13 said.
